“Loved browsing here! They have beautiful hardcovers, a ton of interesting fiction and loads and loads of games spread out over three storeys! Plus the coffee is better than you'd expect from a place that doesn't specialise in coffee culture!”

“The ultimate comic shop experience! Great selection of Marvel, DC and indie comics, merch and figurines. I absolutely loved it here. Nice and knowledgeable staff.

Not wheelchair accessible – it is up a narrow flight of stairs.”

“We've been visiting the Oldfield Park Bookshop since it opened. Harry is a fount of knowledge and can suggest titles for any age group from small children to 'older' readers if you ask. It's just what a bookshop should be. And Harry is a lovely chap as well.”

“Surprisingly always has everything we need. Staff are so lovely. A lot of items are co-op branded and decent. Some items I'm not so sure about the company. Really love loco though, so useful.”

“Fabulous little bookshop. I was very happily lost poking among the shelves here. Enjoyed chatting with the man behind the register, who took a moment to share a memory of meeting the author of the book I was buying.”

“The layout is good, I can find everything I want to look at easily. Good selection of books and clothes and often busy, with pleasant conversation. Easy to find and quick walk away from bus stops and other shops.”

“I am a volunteer and work on the clothing section but now because of the Virus must stay away, sadly. However, having just read the last comment by a gentleman about nice, but not many mens' clothes, I would say that is because we don't get as many men giving their clothes for us to sell, and fewer men (than women) come in to look! I also buy my own clothes at Oxfam because they are always good and it is another form of re-cycling.”

“Good selection of books available and stock turns over quite quickly so worth checking regularly. In the locked cabinet they occasionally have some really beautiful first editions. ”

“Stationery, newspapers, postage, cards, books etc. I would have liked a larger selection of books for young children and activity books for the same age (between 2 and 4 years old), hence the four star rating. Top accessibility with an elevator!”

“This is a very nice shop with some lovely things in. But the real gem is Serena, who went above and beyond trying to help me following a call from me the day after, about a bag. She is the epitome of customer service. Thank you Serena.”
