Really handy for a quick stay in Bathford. Lovely selection of local produce which felt priced correctly however generic branded items felt a bit overpriced. Great customer service

A lovely shop with most things you need including magazines, a postal counter, coffee, biscuits, milk, bread, beer. There is a games library, locally made craft items, gift cards. This place is run mostly by volunteers as they did not want to lose their last local store. They are friendly and welcoming and nice to stop and have a chat. There is a strict no dogs allowed but there is a water bowl and somewhere to tie them up outside.

Popped in for delicious takeaway coffees and rolls on our journey. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff.

A well stocked shop with friendly people running it.A lovely small seating area to the front. The coffee was good. The omelette was excellent. The large English breakfast however was missing the tomato and the sausages were raw in the middle, hash browns stone cold in the centre, toast undercooked and not enough butter, no check back. £2-00 was deducted from our bill for their shortfalls.

Great selection of local and artisan products alongside the basics/essentials for when you run out. Good value for a small village shop as well. I make an effort to shop here as it?s such an important community amenity. The team of staff and volunteers are always friendly too. Hopefully the cafe will be able to reopen at some point in the future!

Only went into the shop to get a newspaper but whilst in there took advantage to ask about the buses from Bathford into Bath. The lady in the shop couldn?t have been more helpful, really pleasant and friendly.

We had just moved the area when we first wandered into the shop, and they were totally charming. The volunteers who work here are all lovely, and were very welcoming to us as newcomers. They sell a lot of local produce, including some really delicious bread, fantastic pies and tasty fresh veg. And they also have regular useful things like cereal, detergent, wine + newspapers. We love this shop, and we've been back several times in the weeks since. Big love + thanks to the volunteers who run it.

The Bathford Village Shop Community Cafe store has been the go-to place in the quiet residential Bathford neighborhood for several years. All the volunteer staff help as best they can to give great service and good food and drinks. Prices are fair too! It's just a nice neighborhood general store!

I was lucky enough to use this wonderful and important local amenity in May 2018 when I was house sitting for some good friends who live locally. This shop supports it local community by stocking a good range of reasonably priced items, including cleaning items, ready to cook meals, fruit and veg, wine and beer. The staff are unfailingly polite.I once lived in a Dartmoor village without a village shop - it was killed by a nearby Tesco - and would have loved to have had a local store as good as this.Highly recommended.
