Me and my wife Shereen came to Barclays Bath branch for an appointment with Saumya Adnan for mortgage advice. It was a very helpful and friendly discussion with him and we were very happy and satisfied of useful information. We are looking forward to visit the branch and Saumya for further process of our requirement.
Barclays Bath staff are very welcoming and friendly courteous , I noticed. And the bank is very clean ,neat and pleasant place. Jay was very helpful from the beginning. I thank Barclays Bath for giving us a very supportive and pleasant visit.

This venue, like most banks, has mixed reviews.
This reviewer experiences both in business and domestically. while lamenting the closure of branches nearer to home, it has been mostly agreeable.
A recent visit (25/06/25) to the bank to alter my Barclaycard Wallet details did tax the expertise of my encounter with Jay (front counter) but his perseverance eventually won through and the result was most satisfactory.
This encounter only enhances my previous opinion of this branch.
Staff reductions have not diminished customer satisfaction at this time.
This branch is well in pedestrian areas and parking is a few minutes walk away - even when it's available. Bath is not known as a car friendly environment.

After having problems with an International transfer, I returned to Bath branch and was admirably assisted by Jay who solved the problem immediately and my transfer was processed.

I have been working with this bank for 23 years. They closed my accounts. I sent many emails to the relevant places. None of them answered my emails. I have never seen a bank that works so badly. I have paid so much interest. I believe this bank that its employees do not value the customers at all and they give jobs to people who do not understand this business at all. I think the bank should inspect these employees as soon as possible. Their service is very bad.

I was visiting the Bath branch of Barclays and needed advice. The lady at the desk - Sarah (Webley?) - was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. She quickly understood my problem and offered me guidance on how to resolve it, but, best of all, she let me make the decision. Top marks for customer service from a very professional and personable employee.

Sarah and Jay were so helpful to us in branch yesterday. We're having to do the same task in multiple high street banks and Barclays have by far been the easiest and kindest. We appreciate the simple guidance given and the clarity of the processes and communication.

It?s the 2nd time I?ve had appointments with Sarah Webley within the last month & both times Sarah has been polite, super friendly, courteous & has dealt with all my requests in a very professional way. It?s clearly not an easy task juggling lots of customers arriving at the same time without pre-booked appointments, but she did this without me feeling as though my time with her was compromised in anyway. Keep up the good work Sarah, you?re doing a fantastic job !
