Staff asked if I wanted toast with my breakfast, it never arrived. Radiators in room were on and had to use air con to counteract and cool the room.

Just out of Town, so quiet and peaceful. Not going to be too busy, but ideal if you want peace and quiet.
Rooms: Beautiful, equipped and stylish.
Nearby activities: Bath was a 10 minute taxi ride where you can spend days looking at architecture and beauty.
Food and drinks: Great food and drinks if a little on the steep side. Loved all the food, service and surroundings.

Exceptional service, beautiful hotel in a great location. Rooms a little dated but very clean and spacious.
I really can?t emphasis enough how fabulous the service was at Bailbrook House. Gems on reception was so warm, friendly, and attentive and all of the staff from those at breakfast to the gentlemen who brought us room service on multiple occasions were just fantastic.
We visited as part of a larger group for a birthday party nearby and nothing was too much trouble. The staff even found some cufflinks for one of the guests who had forgotten his!
Breakfast was great, as was the room service and cocktails. Such a reasonable price too at £220 for 2 nights during a busy weekend.
We wouldn?t hesitate to come back, and are considering visiting other hotels within the Handpicked chain because of how good this experience was!

My family and I recently stayed here and enjoyed a private dining room experience to celebrate my parents? Diamond Anniversary. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish from the extra touches in the dining area to the kindest and most helpful staff you could wish for, nothing was a problem.
The bedrooms are simply gorgeous and the bed size and linen are extremely good, you will wish you could just stay in bed in the morning and listen to the birds chirping, although breakfast is definitely worth getting out for and was wonderful. By far the quietest hotel room I think we have ever stayed in. Our bathroom also had a bath and shower and again is a very good size room. Complimentary nibbles, biscuits tea/coffee and water are all included in the price.
I would stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you to Lorella and her wonderful team!

Beautiful hotel!! Highly recommend.
We stay at quite a lot of uk hotels. Doesn?t look much from the outside but the room we had was beautiful, quiet, comfortable and luxurious. The bathroom was the highlight. Huge free standing bath with a tv on the wall!!!
Breakfast was nice but we ate out in the evening.
Staff were lovely I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Gems the receptionist was fantastic and made us feel really welcome for a special weekend.
The room was in the new part but was still lovely.
The restaurant is good value but did not feel it was it was amazing
The bar was priced at London prices so no shock to us
Uber to Bath £6 and on the way back £11
As is hotel has lots of parking well worth doing as at most a 10 minute drive.
Great hotel and would stay again

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful. GEMS ( reception) and DONALD ( bfast ) both deserve a special mention as they both couldn't do enough to help you on arrival and help settle you in. The room was clean and well presented. However, I was expecting a bit more as it was classed as a deluxe double. The shower was amazing. The hotel is located in a fantastic position and rather than eat in the hotel we chose to walk into the nearest village for dinner. There is a huge car park and an electric charging point on site( however, the locals know this and come to the hotel to use it). Overall a good stay.

First time myself and my partner have stayed at Bailbrook House and we weren?t disappointed. Warm welcome when we arrived and were given plenty of information on places to visit in bath. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff they brought drinks to our room as the bar was not open till 5pm also organised a taxi next morning to take us into bath. We were the only two residents in on our 1st night as we visited the 2nd week of January and although they had a small staff on they compensated by making sure that we had everything we required. Disappointed that the cloisters restaurant was closed as this was a quiet period but still had a lovely stay.
Rooms: We had a double deluxe in the mansion house, it was spacious, room was warm as we were there in January and it was -2. Plenty of amenities, a mini fridge, coffee machine. Bed was comfortable and red hot towel heater in bathroom kept towels warm.
Food and drinks: Breakfast was very varied, so much choice, really enjoyed it. Was a bit disappointed that cloister?s restaurant was closed as we went off peak in early January and on one night were the only residents so I do understand, so choices of items on menu were probably more limited but food was lovely.
