An overwhelming selection of wares and products! Very small and awkward to navigate. A pain to search through! - but some excellent items should you be looking for the usual retro comic genre.

The ultimate comic shop experience! Great selection of Marvel, DC and indie comics, merch and figurines. I absolutely loved it here. Nice and knowledgeable staff.
Not wheelchair accessible ? it is up a narrow flight of stairs.

Aaron and Addy here. Visiting from the USA. First of all, Bath is a great place to visit. This small shop up the stairs is packed full of comics. Owner was very accommodating and glad to have us visit. Found some great vintage books! Glad to find comics, and not another funko pop chain store. Don't pass it up. Good people. Good vibe. Even the store locals were fun to talk to...

During my third trip to Bath, an uncle of mine mentioned that there was a comic book store I had somehow missed the first 2 times so even though I wasn't after any, I thought it worth a visit. I made my first visit yesterday, where I was warmly welcomed by the owner of the store (who's name escapes me) where we proceeded to talk about our joint love for comics, how we got into them and even a little history of the store itself. I ended up purchasing a few comics taking advantage of some great deals they are running, one of which being a selection of graphic novels for only £5 and another being buy 2 comics and get 1 free. They also offer a loyalty stamp card which gives you a free graphic novel ( up to £14.99) after 10 purchases of graphic novels. However the owner, for what ever reaosn, very generously gave me 5 stamps even though I only purchased 1 graphic novel. This led to me deciding to pay another visit today to purchase some more so that I can finish the loyalty card before going home and take advantage of the free graphic novel even though I wasn't after any. Unfortunately however I was met rather coldly by a small young employee (whose name was never provided) that left me with a bitter taste and in a sour mood for the rest of the day. Upon walking in I felt rather like I was intruding and couldn't take my time. While perusing another customer walked in that whom I overheard ask said employee about wether they had 2 specific comics in stock, which the employee answered by saying and I quote "I don't really know comics like that, I just cover the store here for the owner". I picked up a small selection to pay and handed over my loyalty card where he proceeded to apologise that he can't stamp becuase I didn't purchase graphic novels. When I mentioned I had been the previous day and the owner had done so, he proceeded to say and I gain quote "the owner should not of done that, I will have a word with him to make sure he doesn't In the future. I'm not sure why he did that". Then said maybe it wasn't the owner I saw becuase he's in Portugal so must be another colleague, ergo implying I'm lying. Now I find it odd, that he not only lacks any knowledge in the realm of comics but assumes he's in a position to have a go at the owner, as well as effectively accusing me of lying. Even with the other customer his attitude and work ethic were shocking to say the least. After I payed and he said he couldn't stamp he then said he would this once but shouldnt and only stamped 1 when it should of been all 5 as per the owner, so I asked for a refund. He looked confused, said that's not really how that works and he shouldnt. When I insisted, he huffed and did the refund unwillingly, all fe while giving dirty looks in disbelief as I walked out. Unfortunately what started off as an amazing reminder of why I love not just comics, but the independent comic stores, has now lead to a rather ruined day, whereupon I will also refrain from future visits as well as advise others like my uncle against going In the future save maybe when the owner is in.
