Anniversary dinner was splendid . We ordered off the ?specials board ? and I thoroughly enjoyed the piri piri chicken with chips salad and homemade coleslaw. My wife had a memorable liver, smoked bacon and mash with a gravy I can only describe as ?historic ?

Highly recommend coming here to eat. We booked for 18 people and from the start the service was brilliant. Great communication to help us pull off a surprise meal. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Thankyou for helping us have such a brilliant night. We will definitely be back!

Great little find on the way home from the beach. Great burger and fries and simply the best peppercorn sauce! and homemade? ketchup. Delicious food and lovely elevated garden overlooking the hills. Outstanding, friendly service. Highly recommend.

My only criticism is that I wish The New Inn was within easy walking distance for us! We'd be there a lot more! The food is EXCELLENT but this is still a proper pub, with friendly service, great beers and ciders, sunny garden and cosy nooks. A warm welcome and efficient service - love it.

THE most amazing roast rib of beef yorkie,, rich and cheesy cauliflower flower, red and white cabbage, roast parsnips and carrots, homemade horseradish and the thickest, richest gravy- highly recommend - if I?m picky - roast potatoes could be crispier but that?s looking to nit pic- freakin awesome and highly recommend!
