As it's been so hot recently we popped in for a drink. Our initial thoughts was a pot of tea but then was tempted to having a scone along with it. The scones arrived warmed through with a small pot of jam and just the right amount of cream for the job. Being Cornish it was jam first then the cream. The scones were lovely and light and the lady confirmed they were home made. Along with a nice pot of tea they hit the spot. We'll be back again to try one of the cakes next time.

Simply the best. Terrific hosts Steve and Tawny made us feel very welcome and they were considerate to the needs of one of our party who is a wheelchair user . What a sumptuous feast it was.
We booked the afternoon tea.
The sandwiches were freshly made and there was a great variety on lovely fresh bread. We chose a mixture of white and brown.
Next came the most gorgeous home made cake (Im reliablily informed Steves wife made them). We were able to select from a good range.
This was topped off with the lightest scones I have ever tasted topped with jam and clotted cream.
There was so much of it that we have a good selection wrapped up for later!
If you are in the area looking for a local establishment then give this a try. You wont be disappointed

We always drop in on our Strawberry Line rides. This place is a levely gem, just off the main square, it has a great selection of cakes and lunch or tea options. The ginger cake that I had today is simply amazing. The best!
Thank you.

We had a super afternoon tea at this lovely tea shop. The cakes were delicious and beautifully presented, and the scones were a real highlight, served with proper clotted cream. They went the extra mile for a birthday celebration, decorating the table with a cheerful banner and adding a candle to a chocolate muffin, which was a lovely touch. A charming spot for a special treat!

Called in today after a long walk. Partner and I shared the afternoon tea meal. Sandwiches, cakes and scone all perfect, really top quality homemade food. A pot of tea in proper chinaware was a nice touch.
All in £20 from memory. Great value and would definitely recommend.
Our border collie was also very welcome.
