Just popped in for a Pint, and I was amazed and disgusted the price you charge, £6.10 for a pint. Well this is more than £2 more than a equivalent Pint elsewhere. Just recently called in the Apple tree at West pennard and the Same Pint was £4 you can come up with all the excuses you like for your price reasons but this difference will never make me stop here again and also I will never recommend this pub to anyone, Shame on you and finally your business will fail very soon

This pub has recently been taken over and we just had a lovely Sunday roast and pudding.
Great friendly atmosphere.
Come give it a try!

Taken over by new owners 2 days ago. Friendly welcome. Food was delicious - we all had steak. Cooked the way each of us requested. Great value. (New menu due end of next week) (nb inc mushrooms but son and I swapped mushrooms and salad)

The Ashcott Inn has not been paying their front of house staff, some for months and are owed considerable amounts of money.

Great, everything! Bike nights there are very busy and always band playing on the Wednesday night

Really nice, dog friendly and huge portions of food

£21 for two beers and burned two slices of average baguette with pate, raisins and salad leaves. Two old couples quietly eating their Saturday dinner. Empty garden. Didn?t enjoy the food or the experience

Amazing little gem of a find!
Beautiful interior, decorated and finished to a high standard for a pub.
Food was delicious, drink was fresh and cold and service was polite and attentive.
Will definitely be back to support this business, they've got a great place going ??

Such a lovely pub. We stopped in for lunch and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be going back for an evening meal. The lady behind the bar was so accommodating and friendly. I haven't got a bad word to say about this pub.

300 year old roadside pub run by landlady Louise. Nice selection of beers and the menu looked very tempting. Met the chef as well, who was prepping for the evening rush. The original hatches for moving traveller's luggage up into the rooms above, can still be seen in places. The pub has expanded into adjoining areas and out the back. Plenty of seating inside and in the quiet rear garden.

Visited this traditional pub whilst on holiday in the area, and were delighted that food was being served at 5pm. The menu had something for everyone - we had the steak, which came with delicious chips, crispy onion rings, mushrooms, and tomatoes on the vine. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. The landlady was lovely and very welcoming. Highly recommend!

Popped in for lunch on our way to Clarks Village. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the landlady was proper down to earth!? We both had a roast dinner and couldn?t fault it. Sadly we were both full up so had to skip ?dessearts? ?? Definitely recommend!!
