My wife and I drove 20 miles to view and hopefully collect a car we had paid a deposit to secure. On arrival we were invited to look the car over before going to the dealer's shack to complete the purchase. First, we couldn't open the bonnet to inspect the engine bay - perhaps the bonnet release catch was broken, perhaps not.... Either way, though the dealer couldn't explain why the fault had occurred, given it had recently been serviced and MOT'd, he promised to have it mended. Strange, but sort of so far, so good. Second, after a satisfactory test drive we asked to see the "full service history" the car had been advertised as having. This is where things took a turn for the surreal. The dealer went through the documents himself - the service book was "lost" - whilst mumbling something about the latest service invoice and an old MOT certificate. When we asked to see the documents ourselves he handed them over, only for us to find that for the 15 year-old car there was evidence of at most three services. The dealer said he didn't "do" the adverts himself, though he agreed he was responsible for them, and apologised. But when I expressed some further concern about the misleading advert, he immediately told us we obviously weren't happy, reached into his wallet and offered (almost demanded we take) the deposit back. After a few more words from us about his attitude to "sales" - he clearly at that point didn't want us to buy the car - we left. Since then (later the same day) the car has been readvertised with one obvious change to the details - the price has GONE UP by £500! And, guess what? The reference to "full service history" is still there. Would you buy a used car from this man? I certainly wouldn't.

Would highly recommend this dealer we had seen a Vauxhall insignia Vx-line had a test drive then got the ball rolling to buy the car. It was all fast and easy and most important no pressure at all. Very professional we would buy from them again no problem. Car had a full MOT done and fully cleaned.

Car required extensive repairs within a short space of time contacted the garage for support but they were not interested as car was out of 3 month warranty.

Dont always leave reviews but my purchase of a Peugeot 207 from linden motors was excellent, viewed the car, paid small deposit, returned post service of vehicle and drove away. Took the car for inspection to my local garage and result, the car was as stated and hopefully a good buy. The sales pitch by Peter was non pushy and I believe honest which I feel is so important these days, it's a scary prospect handing over your hard earned money these days. Can't fault. Did a great part exchange deal. Hubby picked up a few faults which they sorted and more besides to put a years MOT on it. Highly recommend, great guys, top service?
