Great place for a pit stop. Always stop for sausage egg and chips, always freshly cooked, and cooked spot on, well above what you'd normally expect.
The chips especially are very good and consistent, reheated ones give me indigestion, however these are always perfect. Prices are very fair too.
Proper mug of tea too.
Toilets have fairly recently been refurbished,and everywhere is spotless.
Dinkys down the road used to be my compulsory pit stop when heading into mid Wales, however not anymore, this is better.
Be aware that it's cash only, however there is a free to use cash machine outside.

Good place to stop if your hungry on your journey, we had a large breakfast it was cooked well and tasty.

Called in this morning on our way to Wales. This was our first visit since our caravan site closed last autumn. As soon as we walked in, they all greeted us and it was a pleasure to see them all again. As usual, the food and drinks were lovely but it?s extra nice when you?re made to feel so welcome.

Stopped for a breakfast sandwich and it was honestly awful! Sauce in sachets and the egg was cooked that much it felt like a chicken had been stuck in the oven and laid the egg itself straight away. Halfway to food poisoning more like!

Highly recommend this diner. It's peaceful and welcoming, and the food is delicious. Great sized portions served piping hot. Prices are decent enough, too. Worth every penny!
It is cash only but there is a cashpoint outside so don't let that stop you.

Where to start with this one? I've actually been here before and had a breakfast which was fairly basic and average..... However, my last visit was more of a swift exit as it was dire!!! Still the mind boggles at how two fish and chips with a cup of tea was almost £30??? One of very few places where I've actually walked out of due to the price....! Now let's not pretend this is a gourmet venue of any kind. It's dark, dingey interior isn't terribly welcoming, and neither are the monosyllabic staff who mostly loiter out the back. It's an odd set up that is virtually cash only - conveniently their bank details are displayed on the counter, should you wish to assist them in tax avoidance.... Alternatively a cash point is located right outside, but be prepared to take out £20 and be shocked when your bill is almost 50% more ? No idea who uses this place to be honest.... Avoid.

Good stop off for supplies! Was surprised to see the pub closed, but it has been 15 years since I've been here!
