Exception service from start to finish. Came here for Mothering Sunday and were welcomed with a warming smile and they couldn?t do enough for us. The food was utterly amazing and I cannot fault anything about the experience. Thank you to Jamie and the team, the best roast I?ve had in a considerably long time and will be back.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! The food was stunning and the service was impeccable; what more can you ask for? An absolute gem of a place that never fails to impress. This time it has to be the Finnish Fish Stew and the staff that were stand outs. The stew was anything but stewed and the staff were attentive and utterly professional; Karen especially.

Excellent evening in all respects. Service, food, ambience all spot on. We enjoyed the legendary Fish Sharing Platter, Dressed Crab, Fish Stew and Pie of the Day followed by Coconut Rice Pudding and the best Espresso Martinis around - thank you and well done Team Dickin ?

Appalling front of house by barmaid. Rude, arrogant and not interested in her customers. Needs her P45. If still working there after tonight I could only think that she is the daughter of the owner!!!

Lovely looking pub and good atmosphere. Generally very friendly and attentive staff. Food was OK . Mushroom Wellington £16 (looked like a pasty) was OK but chips were extra making it the most expensive pasty and chips I've ever eaten. Vegetarian food is unimaginative, but partner said his steak and chips were amazing. Desserts were great.

Seriously a great place. I'd say that they've got everything right. Excellent food, well served, generous portions, lovely crispy potatoes, very reasonable gravy. Hospitable atmosphere and an engaging interior with beams and brick chimneys. Personable staff. Recommended.

This was a great family English gastro pub, serving delicious food. We were there with some friends and enjoyed pork bites, calamari, crevette prawns, olives, sea bass, sirloin steak with blue cheese, with fries, vegetables and salad, all accompanied by a bottle of Chablis and a bottle of Merlot. For dessert, we enjoyed honeycomb, mint and lemon ice cream and a cheese platter. The service was friendly and welcoming.

A beautiful pub In an idyllic setting.Firstly the pub itself if a gorgeous conversion that has a true homely feel that instantly makes you feel comfortable.Secondly, the staff and service is a very high standard, they make you feel welcome and ensure your needs are met as well as actually engage in conversation with you unlike many places I have visited.Thirdly, the food is incredible. Tye kitchen staff creat pure magic, flavours of every kind that will have you salivating with anticipation of the next bite. The dickin arms is a rare gem of a place that has a modern yet classical English pub in the country feel.If you are looking for a recommendation on the food, you might wish to try the maple sticky pork bites on the starter menu, you will not disappointed!
