We went for lunch today ,lovely atmosphere ,very clean pub ,staff were lovely and accommodating ,Alfie was so lovely and polite and also Tasha ,food was very good and didn't have to wait long ,will be back soon

Went to the bar first and the young boy told us to go up the stairs and one of his colleagues would take us to a table. We waited 5 minutes, no one came over despite making eye contact with us numerous times. We alerted staff we were waiting and asked if they had a table for 3, a lady asked if we?d booked (we hadn?t) and if we were staying at the Premier Inn (we weren?t) and then she just walked off and started clearing tables without saying anything to us. Multiple staff members were walking past us making eye contact with us but didn?t help at all! We?ve never had this issue in the past but this service is abysmal. We ended up walking out as we felt as though we weren?t welcome!

Exactly what you'd expect from a pub chain. Fairly standard food pub. Reasonable choice on the menu. Good service although it took an age to pay before we left.

went last night after not going for a year . nothing had changed apart from.no childs colouring menu.smothered chicken very dry bit of sauce underneath no cheese to show 2 pieces streaky bacon said with coleslaw garlic bread skin on fries and salad garnish well salad defiantly a garnish pice cucumber 1/2 slice tomato bit lettuce ..coleslaw very dry and no more than a tea spoon garlic bread dry. other regulars that visit weekly posted there meals and what a difference at least a table.spoon of coleslaw.desserts don't bother peach and raspberry melba scoop ice cream no full raspberry just juice and 2 small slices of tinned peaches and an awful lot of hard biscuit like crumbs.doughnuts extortionate price and you just got 3 small doughnuts. 2 Dippin sauces which were more than doughnuts. think.it will be another year before we come.here again as very much overpriced and small portions nor even we'll cooked or presented. definitely not done to the recipe portions and cook guidelines that whitehead are very good at supplying and ensuring full training is given

I had an amazing experience at The Bridgewater Arms! The unlimited breakfast was fantastic?plenty of delicious options, and I left completely full with no room to spare. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the place was clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal!

Superb service from Barbara and the rest of the staff. Food was really nice and very competitively priced with the 3-course meal offer. Highly recommend and we are going to book for Christmas day. Thank you.
