Staff were friendly enough, the location of the stay was perfect with the view of the lake. However on the first night we was off to bed quite late, plugged in my phone charger to find sick on the floor from the people who had stayed in the room beforehand. Because it was late I had to wait until morning to tell the front desk, in the morning of 10/03/24 I told the lady at the desk, her name badge said she was the supervisor. I asked for the carpet to be cleaned as there was sick on the floor, I stated it wasn?t a lot but it?s not very pleasant to be staying in a room with that in when we?ve paid to stay for 2 nights. She told me she can get it done for me but the floor will be wet later on, which I said was absolutely fine. I had no apology that this had happened to us, later in the evening we returned to the room. It had been ?cleaned? however as it was right up against the wall there was still some left there, lumps of sick. On Monday morning we left the hotel, and there was nobody at the desk, just a sign to say it was closed. Dont get me wrong, it was a nice place to stay as we had a show at the international centre over the weekend, however the service was extremely poor. 1/5 stars. The second photo is after it had been supposedly cleaned. Absolutely disgraceful.

We spent there 2 sleepless nights as this place faces night club and windows are not closing properly. Air conditioning broken in most rooms. There was us and there other families of friends that suffered similar issues. Clean place. Service was not bad, but manager promised to send us voucher to mitigate problems, but that never happened. AVOID!

This was OK but I had to ask for some towels as they hadn't left us any.. They only left us 2 halves of toilet roll so 1 toilet roll. And no spoon to stir my tea.... Small silly things that might not matter but to me it was a waste of 20mins walking back down the stairs that I'd just walked up to walk back up again.

Right opposite the ice rink so it was perfect for match nights for myself and my partner. We did ask for a quiet room the other side of the hotel though as the bar across from it is open till crazy hours and even through double glazing it was loud enough to disturb. The reception is on the 1 floor. I feel for the security guard who has to man the door at night time.It is worth noting THERE IS NO FREE CAR PARKING!!! You either do what we did and got the train in. Or lay for overnight parking at the multistory car park opposite. You also cannot drive up to the entrance it's in a pedestrian zone.I will be staying there more often. The staff are lovely and really helpful. Even suggested the best place for food after the match!Thank you guys for making our night relaxed and chilled.

Not my first visit here. Stayed here for 4 nights late December.A well located hotel adjacent to the Telford Centre for shopping and eateries. It's pretty much the usual standard Travelodge configuration. We had a room overlooking the lake area, which was great, a bit quieter.Comfortable bed, ample supply of tea & coffee in the rooms and reception.Rooms serviced on request.Discounted car parking is available at Southwater multistorey car park £1.60 per exit - don't forget to enter your registration!Dog friendly for an extra charge per stay. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful - A real credit!Rooms: Decent sized rooms, especially the family ones.

stayed here for one night to attend a conference opposite.hotel is very basic.the reason i wanted to leave a review is to acknowledge 'SALLY' on reception .We arrived after a long journey on the train.Bit fed up and tired .Then we were greeted by Sally on reception ,what a pleasure she made everything for us.An absolute pleasure to deal with ,nothing was too much trouble, with a lovely warm smile ,and a sincere welcome. She belongs in a high end hotel .While travelodge are lucky enough to have her ,make the most of her.So a big thankyou to her .
