wow.....superb Sunday Roast for me, and beetroot wellington for my partner. Add very friendly staff, excellent beers and wine, and you've got a perfect sunday lunch, and very good value for money.

Impromptu date night. Lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Good variety of menu that meets all dietary needs. After starters of carrot & onion bhaji & bread and oil.(both absolutely delicious £ We opted for the steak for hubby and the Harissa chicken for me . Steak cooked to perfection, cooked as advised by our server Dani , with lots of lovely extras including a delicious peppercorn sauce to die for !! Wonderful chunky chips , well presented & a joy to eat . The Harissa chicken was also delicious, with an added bonus of spicy, crunchy skin! Both very generous portions, deliciously cooked and so well presented. Our server was excellent, very knowledgeable on the menu, good recommendations on our chosen dishes. What a lovely treat & excellent value. If you?re in the area. this restaurant is a must to try, I promise you will definitely return!!

We decided to visit Ironbridge for my husband?s Special Birthday and our friends came too. We were a party of 12 and over the 3 days we stayed, nothing was too much trouble for the staff of this stunning boutique pub. The service and the food is wonderful. Our room, no7 was lovely with views over the river up to the bridge. We celebrated with a 6 course Taster dinner which was amazing. How they got everything on the table hot and in time was remarkable. Cannot say enough good things about The White Hart and their great team. 10 out of 10 for everything. We shall definitely return.

Sadly not as good as our previous visit. The service is normally a little lacking but felt stretched on a busy Saturday night with a large party upstairs. Considering a service charge is added you?d think a little more investment in actual service wouldn?t go a miss. We had to ask for cutlery and drinks. Nobody ever seems to be running the place. The valentines menu wasn?t offered? Albeit just the same as the normal menu so little thought went into that. The starters were good, the mains were pretty average, the salmon is a very small dish and doesn?t represent value. The chips are now just Wedges too? And sauces served in their large plastic containers - not a good look. The most disappointing was the desert. Last time I had the most amazing chocolate cheesecake with edible flowers and fresh strawberry. This time the chocolate tart was straight from a pack and had also ran out of fresh strawberries. Overall nothing was terrible but we really lack some standout places in Ironbridge.

A great visit from start to finish. The smiling welcome as we arrived to the cheerful ?bye? as we left. Firstly - the food. A good choice on the menu. We were 5, and had a mixture of meat and fish mains. My friends thought their steaks were cooked spot on for medium rare and were flavoursome. I had salmon - perfectly cooked. Second - the service. Our waitress remembered what we?d individually ordered- so there was no ?who?s having the salmon?? Excellent! When we requested anything extra, it arrived quickly. Thirdly - value for money. We had bottles of wine and pints and 3 courses. Very, very good value for money. If I could have given six stars, I would. Well done to everyone, kitchen, bar, waiting staff. Thank you very much.

Stopped here for lunch as in ironbridge shopping. Great lunch . We went for light bites and went for two dishes to share. I went for onion barjies and hubby went for whitebait and shared some chips x food was very tasty and was great portion size. Lovely glass of red wine and great efficient and friendly service in lovely location.

Fabulous food - absolutely stunning and would definitely recommend. Couldn't fault the quality of the food and this definitely made our Christmas get together even more special.

Booked a table via website, we had a pre lunch drink by a lovely fire in the bar area. we wre not rushed to our table, infact we just went when suited us, Food was fantastic we all enjoyed fish and chips, carribean chicken and crispy beef noodle stir fry. Coffee to end for 2 of us All staff were so lovely. Can't fault it. Will certainly go back

A competent place to have supper in a nice location beside the Severn. Efficient and moderately priced. The food was well done if rather plain for my taste - but I have high expectations. Friendly efficient staff.

Are here on a Thursday evening. Promptly seated and served by young waitress. Ordered a carafe of Pinot Grigio £14, which was lovely. Didn?t do starters but got bread oils and olives. Absolutely lovely, olives not pitted which was great and flavour fantastic, not really salty. Bread warm. Then came the mains, got sausage and mustard mash with red onion gravy and greens, absolutely amazing proper comfort meal but fantastic quality and beautifully presented. Also had smoked trout with large couscous and some sort of harissa paste with onion bhajis, again fantastic. Not big slobby portions akin with some pubs, the food here was lovely and reasonably priced. Desserts we had raspberry and white chocolate cookie sandwich and coconut rice pudding, again delicious. Really lovely place to eat and much better than some of the more notable places to eat in Ironbridge, wish we went here twice!!

Very disappointed with the starter. Whilst the quality and presentation were very good, it was sadly lacking in value for money; I would have liked more of it for the price I paid.

Unexpected jewel! Randomly visited Ironbridge Anne popped in here for a little drink. Charming place lots of character. Got peckish and decided to eat here. And what a menu it was! Absolutely recommend going here for a special occasion or a treat! Felt like a pub that can properly serve decent quality specials. From starters through to desserts this place did not disappoint at all. Well done to the chef who created that menu! Caribbean stew and rice pudding who knew it was everything I didn't know I needed in my life. Delicious!
