Unbelievably overpriced food, much better value from some places close by. Service is good and friendly staff here but starters all going on £10 each for maybe 3 items on the plate and burgers all almost £20 each. Dear night out nowadays for a known chain

I recently had a disappointing experience at your restaurant last week, due to the service provided by a waiter named Sarah. From the moment we were seated, Sarah was extremely pushy. She rushed us through our orders, constantly suggesting more expensive items, and seemed impatient when we needed more time to decide. This aggressive approach made our dining experience uncomfortable and unenjoyable. I hope management can address this issue to ensure better service in the future.

We dropped in to this restaurant on an off chance after doing some Christmas shopping Telford shopping centre - all other restaurants near by were full but we were able to get a table at TGI?s without problem!
We were greeted and shown to our table by some of the very nice and friendly waiting staff. Our starters came quickly, they were ok but served cold. Our main meal came, my wife had the steak (£28) and I had the chicken burger (£20). On the side of both meals was some very thin & salty fries.
My wife?s steak was a very thin minute steak, which she ordered medium-rare (it came well done) and was tough and chewy (this was £28). I had the chicken burger, I cut it in half and it was clear to see that it was very under cooked and not far off raw in the middle (this was £20) - I called the waitress over and she agreed that it wasn?t cooked, and it was duly sent back. By the time it had come back my wife had eaten half of her meal and left the rest due to poor quality of steak and side salad.
On checking out my returned meal I could see that my chicken had been sliced in half and re-cooked, and this time it was over cooked.
The bill came and before I could complain the waitress had said that she would remove the burger off the bill, which I was relatively pleased with - final bill was still over £80.
Overall not a pleasant experience at TGIs and regret walking in to this place - and also worth adding is that it was very cold in the restaurant as well, which made it uncomfortable to be in there, didn?t remove our jackets - I now know why we was able to walk in and get a table straight away!
I have been in other TGIs up & down the UK and they have been a really good experience, however my review of the Telford TGI?s is the complete opposite, I will never go to this restaurant again, this has to be one of the worst meals we have ever experienced eating out - the only saving grace was how friendly and helpful the young lady (waitress) was who server us!

I recently visited TGI Fridays Telford, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. First, We ordered two burgers, and both came with burned meat, which was a real letdown. I also requested a Coke refill twice, but despite the restaurant not being busy at all?there were plenty of empty tables?I never received it. To make matters worse, they still tried to charge me for the refills, which felt frustrating and inconsiderate.
Additionally, the temperature was uncomfortably cold inside, making it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. Considering how empty the place was, it was surprising that the service and ambience didn't meet expectations. Overall, it was a lacklustre visit, and I was left disappointed by both the food and service.
