Cannot recommend Michelle highly enough. I have no idea when it comes to hair (colouring, styling or anything), so when I moved to Telford I needed to find somebody approachable, knowledgeable and skillful, and I found all of those things and more in Michelle. Michelle has been colouring my hair for just shy of 3 years now. I have been going to Michelle for just over 4 years , I first met her when she was mobile and she came to give my little boy his first hair cut. With him being 1, he wasn't exactly a fan of having his hair cut. But everytime Michelle came round she would offer to give him things to hold, tell him he is doing amazing and even cut his hair in the bath one time because he upset. Now at 5 years old he will ask when we are going to see Michelle so he can have his hair cut, he will sit very well for her and that is purely down to her calmness and great approach. So if you are concerned about your child and they have a fear of having their hair cut, Michelle is amazing at easing that fear.I have also had my hair done by Michelle too and I don't know how she puts up with me ? the amount of colour corrections she has had to do, especially times where I thought I could go from black with red / brown build underneath to blonde? she is a wagician (female magician ?) . When she does my hair I leave feeling amazing . I do not trust anyone with my hair other than Michelle. So if you want a hairdresser who can do magic and leave you feeling like a new person, Shades and Fades is the way to go?

Visited shades and fades for the first time today. My whole experience, from the first message on Facebook to getting my hair done today has been fab! Michelle is so lovely and friendly and really put me at ease. Came to her with an idea on style and colour and she made it 100% better than I ever expected. I never knew my hair could look so amazing! I traveled for over an hour this morning, it was definitely worth the drive! I needed a new hairdresser since my previous one left the trade, Michelle is definitely my new go to! Thank you so much ?
