Friendly staff, quick service and good food

I went into Muffin Break, Telford, Shropshire this morning intending to buy either a chicken and ham tortilla slice or a chicken tikka wrap. I go to Costa and Pret A Manger often because they all use British beef, chicken and pork. Starbucks do not tell you where their meat comes from so I don?t go in there.
I only buy British meat so I asked the girl in Muffin Break where their chicken is from. She looked a bit surprised - clearly no one has asked this question before - but she was very polite and went to the back of the shop to see where the chicken was sourced. It appears Muffin Break are using Brazilian chicken. I find this very disappointing because Muffin Break are clearly not supporting British farmers and, worse still, are using up air miles and aviation fuel to source cheap chicken. Everyone should do as I do and check before they buy. They offered me a vegetarian option but I won?t support any companies that use foreign meat.

I went to Muffin break on mon27th Jan, 2025.
Ordered a flat white coffee.
Price had increased from my last visit.
From £2.70.
To £3.50.
Service was dismal.
Lady on service at till was too busy talking to other, server, that I almost left.
No heart shape in coffee, as is norm for muffin break.
Also tried to serve coffee, on dirty stained tray.
Until I said, I did not need tray.
Also observed when seated that Lady on service, served 2 more customers, whilst still talking to colleague.
Terrible customer service.

Amazing Coffee, Service with a smile and delicious savoury & sweet options! Including Gluten free muffins!
Vegetarian options: Spinach & feta pie, Paninis & Wraps!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free muffins
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for push chairs and small treats too!
Wheelchair accessibility: Wide open spaces, great for wheelchair / scooters

We visited yesterday with some people we support who have special dietary requirements. The staff supplied us with extra cream for their cakes to enable them to enjoy (Difficulties swallowing).
The food was great and well priced, the drinks good and competitively priced, staff friendly, efficient and helpful.
Despite being quite busy there was plenty of room for the two wheelchairs.
Either work or pleasure will definitely be visiting again.

Was with group of mums feeding their babies and got kicked out at 1610pm as they needed to catch a train. Shop not due to close until 5pm.Disgusting and rude waitress. Will not be visiting again and I do not recommend anyone going here.

We had the yorkshire pudding breakfast wrap and the chicken and vegetables both where very bland extremely disappointed seems they cost £6.90 each don't think we will be visiting again there are better alternatives in

Whilst the cakes are absolutely delicious the same can?t be said about the hot chocolate. I?ve never known anywhere constantly deliver like warm hot chocolate. I mean it?s very clearly in the name. HOT chocolate. After 3 visits to this place to try and see if there is an improvement, and finding there isn?t. We won?t be going back.
