They don't offer tool hire despite advertising it.
Put in a request online to hire a compactor, received email confirming someone will be in touch. Heard nothing. Went to store to find out what's going on to be told they don't offer tool hire by a man stood under a big yellow sign stating tool hire here.
Shouldn't be advertising services they don't offer let alone wasting your time by allowing you to request it online.
Big thumbs down for Jewson.
On a positive note the staff were friendly and suggested somewhere else to try.

Went in today to ask about pallets and cutting wood. Spoke with Stuart who was the most helpful person, helped us more than we could have imagined! Other staff very pleasant and happy as well (think we spoke with Craig while there). Would highly recommend this place for its service. We will be back again in the near future.

The nicest staffs I have ever met in the UK so far given that I bought only just a piece of brick! They are efficient too. Big big difference to another brick supplier nearby (E***s). Will definitely check with Jewson first for any purchases of construction materials in the future

Just had a delivery of 4 bulk bags. Driver was a star and couldn't of done more to help leaving the bags where we could still use the drive.
Office staff were friendly and helpful when I ordered too and even squeezed me in for delivery the following day.
