We Managed to book in earlier for the Sunday Carvery and I am very happy that we took the short journey to this beautiful establishment in what felt like the middle of the countryside. A great experience from start to finish, calm atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, amazing food with a wide variety of choice on the Carvery and a decent pint to go with it.”

They had not informed of us of the fact they had run out of cream for the deserts and the mocha I ordered was just watery hot chocolate
Only small things but however it was the fact that no-one seemed to be worried of the unavailability of these items.

“We got off the train at Wellington and stumbled upon this place. We wanted something to eat but the kitchen had been closed for 10 mins. They reopened the kitchen and cooked us the most awesome breakfast. 10/10 from us.”

“Hotel was lovely our room was lovely size inc the bathroom clean when we arrived bed was comfy only problem at 9.15 house keeping let them selves in luckily i heard them and she spotted the dog so luckily he didnt escape she quickly closed it i opened the door and she said oh your still here and moved onto room ”
