This is the best service you could wish for. Your treated as a person not a number. After failures at our best known opticians it was wonderful to have all your questions answered and explained. The service and staff were excellent. A big thank you to you all.

Had a recent eye test and elected to have additional tests done as well. Price of both tests were reasonable but well worth it to identify and prevent future eye issues. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Big opticians are cheaper.

After twenty years of suffering eye infections intermittently, to which I was convinced with my pain levels, that I had scarred my cornea.I saw my regular Opticions Giles, and had my theory confirmed.With them looking at my eye with their specialist machine and a treatment plan.I now have the correct eye treatment plan in place, and also in place should it happen again!I can not thank you enough Giles Opticions and this is why I use a small family business and not a big city conglomerate, who also miss diagnosed me twice.Thank you to all the team who still gave a dedicated personal service.Ten out of ten.Nigel Collins.

Cannot recommend enough! My wife took a picture of my swollen eye lid and asked the ladies on reception for advice. They got me in within the hour to have it checked out. Nasty infection dealt with swiftly, kindly and no fuss. Thank you to all at Giles Opticians for your support and advice.

I was referred to Giles Opticians via MECS following a sudden issue with my right eye and was able to get an emergency appointment in the morning the next day.I was seen by the optometrist Mr Rai, whom was friendly, very thorough and informative throughout the appointment, in fact more informative than from what I have experienced in other opticians and even the hospitals.The receptionists were polite and the premises was very clean and tidy. Mr Rai seemed generally interested in my well being, without any pressure to purchase additional services or products, despite being an independent smaller business.

My wife had an appointment Giles opticians with Mr Rai. The staff, service and examination were excellent, Mr Rai was very thorough and very polite. He took his time with the examination and explained everything he was doing and the results. He was very patient with my wife as she is hard of hearing even with hearing aids. We can totally recommend this opticians to everyone, you wont get a better service anywhere else.

I checked in to visit this optician's today, to gather an understanding of the services they offer.Once I came to the entrance I found it was locked with no signage as to why! My Only assumption being was "covid related"It took a moment for the reception lady to answer, and once the door opened I was approached with hostility "what do you want"?I had to take a moment for recollection and reply. "Well im a customer wanting to learn what services you have to offer"Without going on forever, I was told to go back to where I originally had my glasses from as they don't supply lenses, and the door wash shut.Very welcoming and polite customer servicesNOT!!!!I will take my business elsewhere.

A superbly run, kind and friendly independent optician. Very reasonably priced. The optometrist is very knowledgeable, instilling great confidence in the service. The eye examination equpiment is also state of the art.
