My son was after a reasonably priced, but decent sized TV for his first house. He wanted to spend up to around £800, but the over-zealous salesman, was determined to show him a £1900 TV, despite being told the price range. Very annoying, so we bought the TV we had gone to see from elsewhere. You'd like to think that after all these years, Curry's would have outgrown the pushy salesman routine.

Been here a number of times. Everyone there looks miserable and depressed. Witnessed what appeared to be a manager having a go at one of the staff at the front of the store! No wonder nobody wants to go in there let alone work with a miserable old man that speaks to his staff like naughty children. On another occasion in store I was being served and then the staff member was asked to go and serve somebody else whilst I was in the process of being served!! Honestly go to shrewsbury instead.

Very frustrating that all the information corresponding to each product is now on a QR code apart from price. Ok in theory, but as the store is one big metal box phone signal is sketchy, at best. Walking to the doorway several times soon gets old. Lots on display, very little of it in stock with a big push to order online, if that's the way they want me to go, Hello AO.

Bought a television in January, my old one we had for 12 years( from another retailer ), but the colour was starting to fade, so I thought I would try currys.
Had in mind what I wanted, a salesman came up to me and said for a bit more money , I could get this other television with better features for just a bit more money, it will be 6 to 8 years before you need to change it, a great television he said . Well it must be good so I bought it.
Just over 6 months picture went, sound went, completely dead, rung their tech team, no worries we will pick it up and have it back in a week.
Now I just get texts nearly everyday saying we are sourcing spare parts for your television. So it's been 11 days, so I popped in to where I bought it, and asked for a new television, No, what about a refund, No.
Apparently because we did not take out an extra warranty, it could take up to another month to get our television back, but if we had paid the warranty we would have it back in a week.
So no television to watch through no fault of our own , just another company who take your money and don't care about the customers service.
I suggest currys spend a bit money and time on looking after customers, than spending on those silly adverts you see on television lately, well except for us because we don't have one , and I don't suppose we will get our one back if they see this review.?

Came in store to look at and purchase new kitchen appliances, cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher.
A young woman came over and offered to assist me however she did say she was new and wasn't too familiar with the product range and pros and cons.
I appreciated her honesty and she redirected me to another staff member who would be better equipped to help me and went back downstairs.
After standing around for almost 40 minutes with only this one staff member upstairs who was busy with another customer, I decided to leave.
Numerous staff stood about talking to one another downstairs and only the one lad upstairs with multiple customers waiting.
Ended up leaving and looking elsewhere to kit out the kitchen.

Disgusting service from staff. I returned item and details not logged correctly. The repairs department terrible not sorted it on 2 separate occasions. Manger of this was vile on phone calls. Even though he was sent 2 separate emails from customer services told different information by him. I've 15 plus hours trying to get a resolution still not closer. I've been brought to tears by vile rude treatment.

Called in this morning for ID Mobile help. A couple of elderly technophobes who find the online help a bit of a nightmare to navigate. Joe sorted the sim card problem with my wife's new phone quickly and efficiently and upgraded her contract for the same monthly fee. Well worth the half hour trip and probably quicker and certainly less stressful than online anyway. Thank you Joe - great service !

Having tried and failed to have a good experience here in the past, I gave it one last try in an attempt to buy a fridge. The staff are clueless and mostly disinterested.
