Bought my little girl here a couple of months ago, we was greeted by a lady didn?t no her name as she never said, I chose a pair of the pink nice girls shoes that were 38 pound, but in the shop as she was walking in them i kept saying her heel doesn?t look right, the lady kept saying it looked okay, we?ve had problems with the shoes coming off constantly every time she?s walking!! Wouldn?t reccomend here, the reason I haven?t come back is for one it?s a 50/55 minute drive and two they clearly didn?t have an idea as anyone who?s had my little girl and taken her out say her shoes are a nightmare!!
I felt like she was thinking more of the money, then the actual issue I was trying to show her in the shop!! But because I thought she knew what she was on about, and said different things I took them. NEVER AGAIN!

Awful, humiliating visit. The staff are very cold. We had our children fitted and chose two pairs of shoes for them, only for the price to double at the till. When we changed our mind, we were told to take the shoes off the children straight away, not even being allowed to walk across the shop to pick up old shoes. Will never shop here again.

Absolutely dreadful management. No system for shoe measuring. Waited nearly an hour for childrens' feet measuring then ages to get the shoes in their sizes. Will not return.

Went in today to get my little boy some shoes. The staff seemed on edge around the manager. He was sat on a stool and guiding a staff member to tidy the shoes by instructing her where to put them and which angle to turn them for the display. Which she didn't understand and neither would I.. unless he came and physically showed her. But it was very rude to talk through me whilst I was looking, so it put me off buying a second pair of shoes. Whilst at the till 3 staff members were there yet none of them were talking to eachother or to myself and it was a very awkward and icy atmosphere. It is clear that staff morale is low here and I will avoid in the future.

Generally a good visit. Would have preferred to try on shoes at my own pace instead of having to wait for the assistant to get my size (after she helped someone else) and watch me do it. I guess it would ruin the minimalist vibe to have that many shoes on view. Sales assistant was helpful and also helped me look online for some shoes to see if any were on sale (definitely an attempt to upsell, as were the not so subtle suggestions that I might want a new bag or the stuff that protects suede. Clarks is relatively expensive but I do find the shoes last well.

Walked in to management almost shouting at staff. Wasn't approached until after they had a heated discussion. Felt uncomfortable while in there, then almost felt bullied into buying shoes that I wasn't happy with. Walked out and went to a different shoe shop and got what I was after

Brilliant and wonderful service! I recently purchased some new shoes for work, and was served by the store manager who was extremely helpful and friendly. My shoes were ordered in and when collecting, the manager and her colleague took genuine interest in my day. This is certainly the best service I have received at a Clarks store, and hence why I will be returning here.

We came in with my elderly mother to have her feet measured so that we could buy appropriate shoes for her swollen feet. Sophie was very attentive, efficient and provided excellent service enabling what might have been a fraught shopping trip with a very independently minded parent develop into a happy experience. Dropped one star due to a very bossy woman ordering staff and customers about. We were served by Caelan who quickly realised my 14 year old was rather uncomfortable, and uneasy having feet measured with all the little children. Caelan was very accommodating and built a rapport with us quickly, understanding that we needed to leave with school shoes, in a size 9G fitting. We were discussing options when a woman, I assume the Manager, shouted over our conversation with an instruction, we were startled and felt it was inappropriate to interfere with a pointless comment. What a shame she couldn?t read the situation and choose a more appropriate time to make her point. Perhaps she intended to belittle staff in front of customers, although I heard her shouting at customers in a similar patronising manner. Caelan demonstrated great customer service skills, and I?m sure his rapport building will take him far.
