Went in today to get my girls some earrings in the buy 3 get 3 offer. Went to the till to pay and the assistant asks if I want to give an email to which I reply no thank you. She then proceeds to carry on with the transaction but the lady next to her, I am assuming management, then presses again and explains that the loyalty scheme is great and just needs an email. To which I responded that I get enough email spam and I really am not interested. She then proceeds to ask AGAIN! Saying it is really a very good idea.
I work customer service and I have done for over 17 years. I know they are told to push certain things but pressuring the customer 3 times is rediculous. The assistant had done their job and offered the loyalty scheme there was no need to force the issue. If I had been buying for myself I would have just walked out then and there

We took our 9 month old daughter today to Claire?s Telford for her ear piercing we was served by Courtney how gave us detail and fill the form in etc and she pierced the ears and very pleased with her she did really good job as highly professional person I Would highly recommend to go there

I went into the shop on thursday to get my little girl some nail polish (set of 6 with rings on each little nail polish bottle). The nail polish was awful, gloupy, didnt dry and so messy. I went to return it today and I was told by one of the women she'd do the return but they wouldn't normally do it as it's been opened (apart from a little clear sticker, everything was as new). I was then told in a patronising manner that the nail polish is gloupy because it was water based and that's how they all are. I took the refunded money elsewhere and have exactly what I want, with more nail polish and cheaper.

I went in yesterday afternoon (25th November ) and I had to leave because I could be in an establishment that has a rude ?manager? I overheard things I should not be hearing in a workplace along with my child being present imagine being a manager and being unprofessional by badmouthing other customers it?s lucky I was in ear shot or else nobody would have heard this DO NOT GO TO CLAIRES UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER

Utter expensive bollocks. Avoid at all costs. Just told my daughter she is never allowed to shop in here again. The quality of the crap is shocking and the more you pay the worse it seems to be.

All rude staff that work in there with no custmer service what so ever! Went in today the lady behind the counter like she can,t be bothered to serve you. Be nice to your customers, you might get some better feed back, my neice had her ears priced here too never again.

What a horrible shop assistant. Someone please ask her to cut her 5 inch nails . The woman can?t properly hold a box and behaves as if she has obliged the whole world. NEVER EVER WILL I GO INTO CLAIREs . Worst shopping experience ever. Avoid it at all costs

Well stocked store, the heating was whipped way up! Also, a lady who appeared to be the manager ignored us for a number of minutes (while she was stood at the till) and then instructed another member of staff to serve us. I won't be rushing back.

Traumatic experience for my 5 year old !Granddaughter as she purchased 2 items for exactly £20.00 and paid cash .I was at the door way at the time encouraging money independence & asked nicely if she could have the free 3 item worth £8.00. She was not given a receipt & was told bizarrely by the manager it was in their bin behind the counter which they would not get ,so nothing could be done .After questioning their actions & there duty of care selling to a 5 year old, l was told about my poor parenting skills & how l was causing a problem, told to leave the shop or security would be called, which l did as granddaughter was now very distressed!Claire?s is normally is a great shop for children but on this occasion, horrible decisions were made by its Management.Hope this review helps others.Complaints to Claire?s & Trading standards next.
