I wanted to get my child an end of summer treat, this is where they chose. We were welcomed warmly, the staff were approachable and friendly. They did up sell a bit but always asked for permission before getting my child too excited about the added extras. Overall cost was around £50 but it was worth it.

Had a great experience today building a bear for our god son?s first birthday. Thank you Emily for helping us you were fantastic, and for being so patient when the baby couldn?t decided on which bear he wanted.

We visited on my child?s birthday. There was 0 enthusiasm / effort from staff towards my child, particularly the woman with brown hair and glasses and young lad. Unclear if they just couldn?t not be bothered or just are not confident in their interactions with children. Put me off returning to this branch again. It?s a shame as previous experiences have been positive with other staff members.

I love build a bear & always buy the rabbits & I've never found the staff a problem. I buy a lot from USA & always happy to stuff them & chat about my collection. However 22/2/25 I went to get 2 bunnies, an American one stuffed & 4 birth certificates. The bloke was lovely, but the girl on the desk I didn't feel that she wanted to be there, I didn't realise that she hadn't wrapped up just 2 of my certificates, when I got home I noticed & rang the store straight away, the bloke answered & said he'd put them to one side & let the other staff know. But... When I sent my husband to collect them, firstly the store wasn't open at the stated time & didn't open untill after 10.30, but also to find a different girl on the desk had thrown my certificates away!! To say the least I was not very happy when hubby told me as I had to search for the one bunny. She should have checked before disgauarding them!!!

Went into build a bear on 2/9/24. When we arrived at checkout, the bear we had built came up as £48; 3 times as expensive as what the website displayed. We explained the situation to the workers and managers, and they assisted us in sorting out the problem. They were very friendly and supportive, and in the end we resolved the issue. Highly recommend, thank you all for your hard work ?

Nice staff who treated an adult shopper well! I dress differently sometimes and I?m essentially an adult child lol, but no discrimination and friendly staff that treated me like everyone else! Thank you ??

I cannot stress enough how amazing staff at this branch were to us. Hannah, Laura & Evie. They made the whole experience so special for our little girl. They really are a huge asset to this company and we will definitely be going back to see them again. Thank you ladies for making my daughter's first build a bear experience so special.

I really recommend the employees are so lovely and it?s a great atmosphere. Even tho im 18 now they still made sure I had something I like to talk about we talked about high school musical and books because they are my obsessions and for somone who is autistic and has anxiety this made me fell so good and okay about talking .

Staff always seem happy and eager to help. Build a bear has always been quite pricey which has always been a downside, but the selection of bears and outfits etc is always really good - particularly the branded collections that kids relate to.
