Always lovely staff in here. It's such a cosy Waterstones as well. I purchased 4 books the other day that were on offer. Thanks for the good service!

Good bookshop, just very expensive. Do they really need to put such a high markup on books? For example, a new Cookbook by a well-known chef. £26 in Waterstones, half that price in WH Smiths, amazon etc.

Doesn't everyone love browsing in Waterstones? The Shrewsbury branch is warm and inviting on a cold day in the run up to Christmas and a great place to find a gift for someone special.

Waterstones is a good great store. Full range of reading material plus there's always a bargain to be had.

Waterstones is a haven for book enthusiasts, offering an extensive range of genres from captivating biographies to inspiring self-improvement books. It's a delight to see the Christmas books on display, making it an ideal spot for holiday gift shopping. The cleanliness of the place is commendable, and the friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere. While a lift might be missed, the absence is compensated by the fantastic skylight, adding a unique touch to the bookstore's ambiance. The collection for kids is impressive, ensuring there's something for every age group. Waterstones truly caters to diverse literary tastes. It's a destination that not only satisfies your book cravings but also provides a delightful shopping experience. If you're a bibliophile or looking for a perfect gift, Waterstones is the place to be.

If you love reading then this is the place to come.Positioned in a really scenic part of town Waterstones has every book under the sun. They do order special books in if needed. The staff are very well up on their books and the service is excellent. Not only are there books here but jigsaws, puzzles and quirky items. All the shelves are lined with books in order of fiction, thrillers, murder mysteries and autobiographies etc. The travel books are upstairs and again you could spend hours up there. Not sure if there's a lift here to help you but you can ask.

Always love popping into any waterstones.Saw one of the books I wanted was available in this store from there app so went in on my lunch break to get it.Love the section on the app that tells you if a book is available or not in certain waterstones, wish more apps had that feature.

Bought 'Red Famine' by A. Applebaum, along with 'The Gates of Europe' by Serhii Plokhy. Both concern Ukraine, I needed to understand current events better.

Please can there be seating upstairs? It would be good to browse through a book before purchase

If they haven't got the book you want here then you probably don't need it!
