However we were very disappointed with family room our 11 year old grandson was unable to sleep comfortably on a put up bed and the single sheets were very rough. You could say you get what you pay for but 1 night midweek was £109 not that cheep. Have decided not to choose travel lodge again.

Stayed here 25th July 2025 for a work colleagues wedding reception to check In and fall over a robotic hoover that had been left behind the door to the landings were our room was on the 1st floor I seriously hurt my foot and ankle I reported it to reception and filled in an accident form upon check out and NOT heard a thing I?m disgusted my husband and I paid £87.99 for 1 night and our plans was totally ruined !!!!!!?n

Room was spacious and clean. It was surprisingly quiet, given how close you are to major roads. There is plenty of parking. Burger King, Starbucks and Asda express, and Dobbies Garden Centre are within walking distance with other shops and places to eat a short drive away.

Ideal place to stay with the dog for a sit to Shrewsbury. Grass area around the hotel for doggy walk and toilet needs. ?

Fantastic value for money, easily accessible with free, uncomplicated parking. Staff were very friendly on arrival in the early hours of the morning and on departure.

Perfectly serviceable assuming you've not paid too much. The room was clean and looked like it had been recently updated with new carpet, fresh paint etc. which made the room feel less dreary. The staff were nice and helpful. We were on the ground floor and the floorboards from the room above were very squeaky which was a pain but otherwise our stay was fine. Large carpark too.

This hotel is disgusting, the smell in my room was vile, it's dirty, stained, and seen alot better days it's just terrible It's also full of people in temporary accommodation, not that that is a problem but when you spend full price and get what we got well it's not really great, the room wasn't serviced once throughout a long stay the smell never went away despite having to leave the windows open constantly the ned frames are dirty and stained it's honestly the worst travel lodge iv ever stepped foot in.

Newly renovated, clean, warm and spacious room with a comfortable king sized bed and a fair sized bathroom with a shower/bath. Friendly reception, local shops and pubs.

We had to use this last minute as a place for my family once my dad was ill. For the price it's good. At this price point you don't expect a lot, but it's clean secure warm and the bathroom is nice. Staff are very helpful.
