Well it's lovely inside posh almost. Menu reasonable but pricey. Have to say quality and quantity did not match the price tag. Good selection of real ales but again pricey though well kept.
The Armoury is a city pub - it's a truly impressive space, illuminated with lovely windows looking out over the river, with a good bar and massive bookcases, but it is never intimidating - Sunday lunch here with the family feels just like a pub lunch should feel like - the people on the tables around are warm and chatty, and there's a lovely atmosphere throughout.
