A lovely traditional tavern that has an excellent atmosphere. The perfect place to visit before going to a show at the theatre. They do fantastic fish and chips as well that I would highly recommend.

Loved it !We finished our canoe trip and arrived later than most places would like but the staff and chef were very accommodating and understanding. They even forgave my diet requirements.Nothing but praise ?

My wife and I popped in for lunch recently on the strength of the good reviews here.Our lunch was super yummy; the fish and chips were excellent and the burger particularly tasty. The side order of onion rings were spot on ? super crunchy with a light batter and piping hot.And they serve Timothy Taylor Landlord bitter ? so all is well with the world.Recommended.
