Once we found the hotel we realised we had to check in via The Alb pub , we were shown to our room in the next building . The Albert was a central location and the breakfast was delicious. It was just what we needed for a peaceful nights rest .

Last minute booking. Room was very comfortable and cosy with a lovely little side room with sofa and TV to relax. Nice hot shower. The staff in the adjoining THe Alb were fantastic and friendly with a good selection of drinks and cocktails. The breakfast was one of the best we?ve had in a while

Awesome rooms!!Super clean room and bathroom; and carpet and tiled floor!Warm and inviting.Great beds with solid comfortable beds!Very accommodating when I arrived early. As I needed the room urgently to get ready for a wedding, the Housekeepers finished cleaning my room rapidly!Amazingly quiet considering it is facing the main road!Love the fact all the rooms had lovely names. Very unique ?Rooms: As above!Safety: Safety is well thought of and to the point - from security codes for the outside door to swipe card for the inner door ?Walkability: - 5 minutes away from the train station! ?- Pub at your doorstep as it is linked next door!Noteworthy details: As above!

Stayed overnight for a gig at the nearby Buttermarket. Was very impressed with the presentation of the rooms. Beds very comfy. Rooms surprisingly quiet considering it?s on a main road. Breakfast ingredient quality wasn?t great though but such a small thing in the scheme of things.

We had a one night stay here and what a great little find! The quadruple room was fabulous as there were 2 rooms, like a little apartment ! It was clean and excellent value for money, especially with the superb breakfast included in the price. Great staff and good location for exploring. Will definitely stay here again.

What an amazing place to stay. Room was a nice suprise, it was like a flat. Staff are great and so attentive,the pub is a lovely place with a great atmosphere. Breakfast was amazing. We Can't wait to come back.

This place is lovely, clean, comfy, staff were lovely, central to all amenities. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Shrewsbury. I will definitely use this place again if I come back to Shrewsbury.

Easy to find and in a great location for shopping and entertainment. The room was lovely and clean and had everything that we needed. Amazing breakfast and delicious cocktails. Staff are super helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended and we will be back again!

Thank you for your help today. Staff at the hotel could not have been kinder nor more understanding. The care with which I was treated was excellent, second to none. I very much look forward to visiting the Albert in February. I?ve already made my booking.

The Albion is just round the corner from the train station, from the moment we got to the hotel, the staff were excellent, friendly. Checking in was easy. The room was fine everything you need for a few days away, a clean room and bathroom, and a comfy bed, plenty of tea and coffee. The breakfast was excellent, it kept me full all day. The pizza we had in the evening was excellent, couldn?t eat it all, so asked for a box to take away and eat latter. The cocktails were excellent. The staff were all excellent and helpful. We will be returning again. 5 *****

Great, conveniently located hotel, with the best breakfast!I stayed in Victoria (room #2), and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of space. The room has a separate bedroom, living area, bathroom, as well as tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge in the hallway of the room.I stayed for three nights, from Thu-Sun, and didn't experience any noise that other reviewers have mentioned. Slept very well, and the bed was comfy.Breakfast, which was included, was exceptional - really high quality, and received fantastic service from Paul everyday.Would highly recommend, and would happily return!

Pretty good value stay with good customer service, nice rooms and breakfast included. Definitely better value than staying at Premier Inn/Travelodge.A bit cold in the room as the radiator was not working.
