Sports Direct in Shrewsbury offers a pretty good shopping experience. The store itself is large and spacious, which makes browsing a lot easier. More importantly, they seem to have a really good stock level, so I was able to find what I was looking for without any trouble. The staff I encountered were also friendly and helpful, which is always a bonus. Overall, a positive experience and I'd happily shop there again.

The 1 star is for non existent customer service, I very rarely have a good experience at Sports Direct. They are under staffed, it takes ages to find someone to help you in any of the stores and they never answer the phone.

Not pet friendly, it's a store selling outdoor gear, seems stupid to me. Both decathlon and goOutdoors are pet friendly so much better options

The last 3 times I've been here I've been served at the tills by a member of staff called Ian, it's always an absolute pleasure to meet him and he goes out of his way to help. He is a true credit to the company.

If they could be bothered to answer their phones, I might be able to ask them about buying something.It just hangs up after 10 rings every time I try to call. It's not customer service to why bother? What's the point?????

Haven't been to a Sports Direct store for sometime, got so used to ordering online during COVID etc, then moved to Wales..this is my nearest SD store, it was refreshing to find the format was still as before and good to be able to 'feel' the products before buying. Store was clean and tidy.. noticeable increase in prices as with everything else.

Purchased some items on Saturday spending £100 and I told the person on the till that I didn't have time to try them on and can I get a cash refund if I bring them back the next day. He told me I could within 28 days. Went back the next day to return 2 of the 3 items and they gave me a credit note! Someone told me I could get a cash refund and this has really messed with my money now. The dude that serviced hardly even spoke and I assumed he had a hang over and didn't care but to mess with someone like this isn't fare. I tried to call them over 6 times and there is no one answering. I messaged them on live chat and it was useless, the agent didn't ever read my complaint. Disgusting service. Totally unfair.
