I went for a test and some new glasses during the school break. I expected it to be busy but, wow, it was super busy. However, I observed plenty of staff; all doing their best to support each other and customers. By the time I collected my glasses I had been served by several different people. Each one was helpful and engaging. Well done to the team at Specsavers Shrewsbury

The staff here are really friendly and helpful. I had excellent advice from the optician and the lady who helped me choose my frames gave me great advice. Very happy.

Disappointing service after several years as loyal customer. Eye test was thorough hence 1 star but my glasses had still not arrived 3weeks after ordering. Inconsistent excuses offered mainly blaming Far Eastern supplier for cutting the wrong size lens. Promises of priority delivery broken. Gave up in the end and went elsewhere (Boots) where I received a 1st class service.

Shocking service for me & my husband, both had eye tests at the same time on the 2nd July, the tests were rushed less than 5mins for my husband & about 7mins for me, my husband tester was in to much of a rush (why) he did not care about the eye test, just wanted to finish it, after the tests we were told it would be about 7 to 10 days, we were called to pop in & pick them up, my glasses are fine, my husbands were wrong Bifocals Two pairs the lady who fitted them said i can change one pair to longer distance so he said yes, He wanted another eye test with another tester but i would have to pay for another test, then she said i could change the glasses to varifocals for another £180 starting price ( we already paid £460.) no discount offered on the varifocals, But what really bugs us it that my husband is still waiting for his glasses it is now the 18th August (far to long for a pair of Bifocals) Specsavers have not contacted him at all, but they asked me to leave a review on my pair not his ???? we have have paid a total off £460 for one pair of sunglasses with single lens for me & two pairs of bifocals for my husband of which only has one pair

Excellent opticians. Every confidence in their guidance. Good selection of quality frames. No pressure to choose the more expensive ones. Have all the latest equipment for eye tests. Will always go to specsavers as they have always delivered first class service.

I have my eyes tested every 12 months because I have slow cataracts, this year there was no change so didn?t need new glasses. This is the first time in about 5 years I haven?t needed new frames which of course will save me the expense, I was delighted and wasn?t ?persuaded ? to try new frames but I know I can if I want to.
