ALWAYS so SLOW!! The old women working there will just ignore you. No help with the self service machines. Stickers not stocked up. Doesn't open on a Sunday which is a nuisance.

Just to add the times of the shop WH Smith and the Post Office are not the same, Google keep amending them to WH Smith opening times, which gets really annoying, when I know the Post Office is closedThe counter staff lady was delightful, I mentioned that Google shows the counter shows open until 5.30pm when in fact they close at 5pm, I have altered this, however I am sure sSaturday is showing shop times, which is not the same as Post Office times

The manager here has just been very rude to an old lady who wanted some help. She spoke to her like she was thick then stated whispering to another customer about her. Way out of order!

Probably the most unhelp and grubby post office i have ever used. 75 years old i now walk all the way to coop post office from porthill.

We went here to get our passports renewed the lady was really unhelpful and abrupt told us to take the forms fill them in and come back again.Which we didn?t she was not helpful at all people should not be working with that kind of attitude did them on line and saved over £30 .Please don?t bother going to this post office find another one we traveled 14 miles to go there what a waste of time .

Clearly this place doesn't care about their customers, the amount of reviews all saying the same for Literally years, show thatOther people have said the staff are rude. There was been times where I've walked in and there has been noone waiting and the staff behind the counter have ignored me and continued to gossip and then made me feel uncomfortable when I've walked away (chuckling and just genuinely made to feel like they are taking about you), but my last visit last week, they were very busy, que all the way out the actual post office area, the self service machines (I think that's what they are) were out of order and a member of staff was just stood next to it (with a customer who looked very annoyed because nothing was actually being done. Maybe they were waiting for something but in the meantime, she surely could have served) while only one other person served. Then someone came in to discuss a passport which then delayed other service because she had to have photos taken etc, all while more people joined the que. A very loud woman then appeared and announced the woman by the self service postage box thing could go on her lunch break (which she did with nothing to say to the customer waiting) but didn't help out. Eventuslly the woman on the other counter (curacy counter(?)) had to start serving customers. She was alittle rude but atleast I got served and managed to leave.I am disabled and can't stand for long periods of time. By the time I left I was in such physical pain I had to go home. Forced to stand for over 30 minutes (I was about 4 people from the front and still had to wait over half an hour, god knows how long the people at the back were waiting) causing intense back pain, one person serving, rude staff. This place really needs to so something. Add more staff or add a seating/number system. Something to make this process easier. Alot of older people use this post office.Do better.

Just been in there ,went a few months ago was fine all good ,just been in there now and 20 minutes didnt moove in que ,need chairs now or seriousley more staff ,2 people on and one of them was doing weighing machines ,que going half way down the store ,plenty out of work at moment .

Was in Thursday 1st sept 2;counter staff which was good and 2 ladies helping on self serve so l only waited few minutes.I sometimes wish the people who complain were on the other side of the counter because when you are serving the public you have to be polite, very helpful, and take abuse with with no reply .I know this as lve stood behind a till for nearly 26 years so give the staff a break. It starts at the top.

Always really long queues with very few staff on. The staff are probably the most miserable people I have ever come across. Probably shouldn't be in a customer facing roll. The wait times are ridiculous.

The staff are incredibly rude and condescending, they all seriously need to attend courses on customer services. They deserve no stars at all.Six months on I made the mistake of returning to this post office, nothing has changed, still rude. This is the main post office in town you should be ashamed of the lack of service

Today I tried several times to send a parcel. One lady serving over a period of a couple of hours with a queue of about 20 people each time I returned. I felt very sorry for her! What's going on? This is a main post office in a big town. Not good service.

Very slow. One person working and yet another lady sat behind another counter not helping with huge queue.
