Recently moved to the area. Can't complain about the service and staff. A great friendly, polite and professional team. Great facilities and clean and tidy. Appointments are sometimes difficult to get quickly for routine stuff, but that's the NHS in general these days. A good practice and service.

Without a doubt the worst GP practice I have (tried to get) registered with.After months of trying to get registered via their website, which is what they tell you to do, I ran out of medication. I called and was on hold for over an hour in position 2 to be told my registration had gone through (it hadn?t - my former GP and a consultant confirmed that). So I arranged a blood test, which was weeks away. I then got a text message saying the test was on an entirely different day at a different practice. So another call - one the phone for 50 mins in position 1 before it was answered then another blood test arranged for another month away. Fortunately, the pharmacy did manage to arrange for me to get medication ahead of the test.Still not registered.Eventually, I moved house back to the county I had come from and my former GP confirmed I was still registered with them - blood test arranged with them for that week. So, I emailed Pontesbury and Worthen to tell them to cancel my registration.Following day I get a call from original GP to say Pontesbury had put through my registration that morning which had booted me out of their system.My new/old practice then took over sorting out the mess.Just a shocking service.

Just a really bad medical practice, it takes forever to get through on the phone, majority of the time you will wait 20+ minutes at position number three, you?ll get to position number one eventually and they?ll hang up on you.You will wait weeks/months to get any sort of appointment with a doctor.A few members of staff and some of the partners are quite rude, patronising and arrogant, the pharmacy staff are especially rude and unhelpful.All the nurses are fantastic, very polite and don?t keep you waiting forever.I?ve been for an appointment before, pinpoint on time, waited an hour and a half and had to leave without seeing a doctor because I had other commitments.It used to be a good practice but it has just got worse over the years, if I could change to another practice I would.

I found a lump which clearly needed checking. Appt was made v quickly face to face with Dr Povey. He gave me a 99.99999% all clear but belt and braces booked an ultrasonic at the Royal. Apparently with Dr Povey Mon - appt at Xray dept Thurs who verbally confirmed all clear and text through from Dr Povey confirming this by mid day. Great service and support in times when the NHS are really stretched. Many thanks

Very clean and extremely efficient service....All staff are welcoming and friendly and the GPs are excellent....You can actually talk to a human being and be listened to and not be offered pills for everything ....There's also a dispensary onsite which is brilliant too...Superb...!
