Had a Sunday roast. Staff are lovely and helpful. Recognised them from another of the local pub.

We booked a wake here and this can be a very difficult choice for a grieving family. However, we needn't have worried Dawn and her fantastic team made us all feel welcome and supported. The food was incredible and plenty of it, it had many of the guests commenting. Couldn't have chosen anywhere better. Thank you all.

This has recently had new management according to the staff and compared to the last time i'd been, they'ved stepped up their game. Everything we had was cooked perfectly and the quality (especially the in house 'home-made' food) was amazing. Staff were also friendly. Highly recommend

Food was bland and so so, took a while to arrive 45 min and was a little cold.

Fantastic experience. Proper pub grub, presented amazingly. Staff couldn't help enough with the kids and were around frequently if we needed anything. The win-every-time claw machine is a bonus (bring £1) as the kids loved it! Loads of parking and seating.
Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly although there are no obvious changing utilities or bins in the bathrooms, and they could do with cleaning a bit more.

Lovely restaurant and Christmas decorations very friendly waiters and good service. I think the young waiters name is Brody, he's very friendly and helpful

We visited the restaurant on the 30 November 2024 and my husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Dawn was excellent and made us so welcome. Carry on the good work Dawn. We hope to return and maybe with our motorhome again ?.

A great place to meet up with friends. We were able to sit and chat before, during and after our meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Plenty of choice on the menu.

Awful - went in tonight and no atmosphere and place seemed grubby even though staff didn?t have much to do - asked for a liqueur coffee as cold outside - man didn?t have a clue and said his colleague would help as not his area! I chose Kailua as no Tia Maria and could not find Bailey?s! I was then asked what coffee I would like, cappuccino etc which was odd! I then got a normal coffee cup with Kailua and coffee in and a jug of hot milk! I can?t believe in a large place like that they didn?t have a clue! I used to work out in the sticks and we were all taught how to make a liqueur coffee - won?t rush back!
I went home and made my own - picture on right!!
By the way we would have eaten but decided to go and we weren?t confident in what we might get!
