Won?t give a refund even though there is clearly a fault with the clothing and the it is still brand new tags on. Manager very rude.

Went into into Costa today(22/04/23)at around 5 o?clock. My husband asked the question of are you still open and we was told that they were closed. However, on the front door it stated that they were open till 6pm. When I said to the Costa barista she said ?I?m telling you we are closed?. I then went on to say ?oh well I?m just trying to say that the sign on the door says 6pm? I then was told again that they were closed. Then she shouted at me saying ?I?m telling you we are closed and you need to get out?. I then walked away and then opened the door and asked for her name so that I could report her to Costa head office as the way I was spoken to was very unacceptable. She then refused to give me her name and was saying to another Costa worker ?give me the keys so I could lock this door?. Then she turned around and shouted again in a really aggressive manner saying ?you need to leave and GET OUT?. I did leave and even after I left and the door was slowly closing I could still hear hear shouting ?you need to leave and get out?. I have always used Costa coffee in Shrewsbury especially this one and I have to say I have never been spoken to like this by anyone before for asking a simple question of if they were still open, quite honestly I haven?t been spoken to like this from a hospitality worker in my whole life, it?s absolutely disgusting and I feel that the way I was treated and spoken to was completely unacceptable. If someone could of been more vulnerable this could have serious consequences. I hope that Costa Coffee takes this matter really seriously and this particular individual is let go with immediate effect. I am a catering manager and I know that if one of my staff members treated a customer like this there would be serious consequences and as we all well know the customer is always right.

They have a large mens section, however unlike other stores even smaller ones, they have almost no jeans. Now this wouldn't be an issue... Except for the fact that the batch they have in is smaller than normal.

Checked on website/ closes 7pm it said. Arranged to meet family there at 4.30pm. By 445 one of the staff was hoovering around the customers- how rude. By 515 all Customers were asked to leave as they were closing early. Why? No explanation given.

Helpful assistant in the furniture department. However he was wearing beach wear, totally inappropriate the day after her majesty's death. Totally disrespectful attire.

My daughter went into Costa Meole Brace Shrewsbury approximately 1pm 31/07/2022 with two others and her registered support dog. The staff waited until the money was in their till then said before they gave them their drinks that dogs were not allowed in store. She showed her disabled badge and her dogs registration but was still told to leave. Seems profits or rather "goals"are more important than people Many people witnessed this. Her dog is very small trained and does not shed their coat and was extremely well behaved. Feel she was discriminated against.

Costa has great coffee I pop into many of them however the breakfast wrap is totally disgusting! £4.15 and it is the worst buy I have ever had. I had to return it as it was so vile, the staff were helpful and gave me something else but be warned do not buy one you will be disappointed.

Clare was unecessarily rude today ( Sunday afternoon). If you get an order wrong, don't tut and sigh at the customer and throw the milk away in a huff. Not only correct the mistake, make eye contact, apologise and smile please. It wasn't a problem for me having to wait at all and there was no need to behave like that. It was your your fault you didn't read the ticket correctly. I know you were busy but good customer service is important. We won't be visiting again if we have to encounter such immature staff. Nice coffee though.

I went for a coffee yesterday at the Next Costa cafe. I was spoken to in a rude manner by a member of staff. I did have a mask and by the way if they had got their info right you are not mandated to wear a mask in hospitality but I happened to loosen my mask having clearly seen me wearing one but decided to tell me to put it over my face. She then queried why I was wanting milk in my filter coffee. Sorry but who is the customer. Her approach was all wrong. I suggest the staff are given some advice on "The customer is right" clearly this has gone amiss in this cafe.

Staff helpful and courteous. But be very careful if you plan to have a leisurely coffee and stay on the retail park for shopping etc. Just received a £100 parking invoice for spending several hours on Meole Brace retail pk Christmas shopping. Wouldn?t want the same to happen to you. : (

It's next......receive a reminder during lockdown to collect an item. Not an essential store, so attend 3 days after email, to be told item has been returned that morning! No allowances for covid. Left standing outside (-2) while the store and details were checked 3 times before being told of return.
