We booked a 2 bedroom cottage. The size of the bedrooms very nice. The whole cottage was very cosy. The staff we're very helpful and welcoming!

Not the best food I'm afraid.Food & drinks: Lamb served but hotel had no mint sauce. Very fatty meat and chewy.No vinegar for kids chips. Soup bland and lukewarm.Sticky Toffee Pudding was lovely.

Lovely lush rooms. Background noise from heating a little intrusive and a slight smell of oil. Reception failed to tell us how to turn tropical heat down.Otherwise excellent.

On arrival was impressed with the hall! But that?s where it ends! Receptionists stayed seated behind the desk which was so high we couldn?t see her! She was not over friendly and could not find WI-FI password for us so said she would bring it to our room! She never did!Our room was very spacious but very tired, not the cleanest and the bath was all broken and n the corner!We were told they were only serving bar food as they were short staffed! No one was around to seat us so took it on ourselves to find a table, the dinning room floor could have done with hoovering there was food all over the floor and our glasses were dirty!We were told they only had one starter and burger and chips left, and this was only about 6 in the evening! It said they had a selection of local beers but was told they had run out of them too! So had Guinness which was from a can and flat!We had our starter which was pate and crackers with bit of lettuce! Then had a wait of over 40 mins to which we had had enough of waiting ! So we got up to complain and say we didn?t won?t our dinner, only to find the waitress talking to the receptionist! Which was no where near the kitchen or dining room area! She assured us our dinner was on the way and said there was only one chef that night! Apart from us there was another couple sitting in the same room as us and a group of 6 in another room so they were hardly rushed off their feet! Over very bad service and told them I would not be paying for food!I would not recommend this accommodation to any one else !

Great value hotel in a beautiful setting with easy parking. Big bedroom, comforts bed, excellent bathroom and friendly staff. The public rooms are warm and comfortably furnished. We enjoyed our meal too. We will definitely be going back.

Stayed at Netley hall for 1 night after attending an engagement party. The hotel & grounds are absolutely stunning. Our room was perfect, with a very large bathroom, comfy bed & tea/coffee making facilities. The room was lovely & warm. We were greeted on arrival by the host ( Carrie ) who is a wonderful lady & all staff were extremely polite & very helpful. The evening buffet was absolutely beautiful as was our breakfast the next morning. I highly recommend Netley hall hotel.

Attended a party last Saturday had the best time ever. Absolutely stunning from the grounds to the hall way and the rooms, with most sofest carpets ever could have curled up and slept on them all night. The facilities were 2nd to none , the rooms were spacious, warm and amazingly comfortable. The bathroom had both a large bath , walk in shower, vanity table with mirror which makes life easy when getting ready for a big night on the tiles. The entertainment was just brilliant, the food was delicious and breakfast was the best you could get with a selection of full English, cereal or pastries. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, Netley Hall is run by 2 amazing people Carrie and Colin that made us feel very welcome . We will be returning at some point as enjoyed our stay very much, .

Wow, wow, wow! What an impressive place! A genuine, warm welcome greeted us from the owner and all staff, especially Carrie, who were friendly, efficient and helpful throughout our stay. Our suite was elegant and spacious, the bathroom was big enough to swing an elephant! The high quality soft furnishings meant a comfortable nights sleep and waking up to those views was truly special. We attended an evening party where the entertainment was second to none, the canapés and buffet superb and the party atmosphere was great! Breakfast was everything you'd expect, good selection, good quality and plentiful. We took time for a stroll around the grounds to take in more views, just stunning! We highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. Thank you Netley Hall and all the staff for making our stay one of the best hotel experiences! See you soon.

The hall itself is a beautiful building and the facilities were great which made for an excellent engagement party. Four of us stayed in one of the lodges which had two large en-suite bedrooms, a comfortable living area and a well appointed kitchen, all clean and well maintained. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and it was very tasty altogether a great experience and we?re looking forward to returning in the future.

We stayed in the cottages was very pleased with the facilities and how clean . Beautiful grounds and good walks. We had the breakfast which was in the main hotel breakfast was good The hotel was stunning inside staff were lovely.. would definitely visit again

Attended as a wedding guest. I was disappointed to see cobwebs around the double doors outside where photos were being taken, other than that fantastic venue. Big room, cottages were great

Having travelled across the UK extensively through work, I can honestly say that from the copious hotels I have stayed at, Netley Hall is at the top. From the moment I arrived I was treated exceptionally. I decided to eat at the hotel and I'm so very very glad, my server Rachel was excellent and made the meal even better. As for the food it was possibly the best fillet of beef i've ever eaten, I highly recommend ordering it with chilli tenderstem broccoli. A fantastic place with amazing food and very welcoming staff.
