Could not rate Jessops any higher! The staff are so knowledgable and really go out of their way to help explain things. I went in with my Canon A5 film camera which I have had a couple of problems with and Phil and another gentleman took the time to explain each setting and process - it felt like a personal photography masterclass. Very grateful for all the help and I will be a lifelong customer.

I went in to buy binoculars whilst visiting family and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I only wish we had a Jessops near us!

Visited Jessops in Shrewsbury 30/05/25 all staff very friendly , especially Sam who was a pleasure to deal with , he was knowledgeable , had a passion for photography and extremely helpful even fitting the lens filter i bought onto my camera and then helped us choose the perfect bag for our set up letting us try different bags - can?t do any of that online so we should all support the shops on the high street wherever possible as Sam was interested in us as people and not just next please . Definitely highly recommend if you are in the area we visited from Lancashire

Phil and the team are a GOD SEND!!
They spent an hour with me today walking me through the different lens options for my Sony EV-Z10 ii. After allowing me to demo some of the lenses in stock, I went for a 50mm prime, and ordered an 11mm for when it comes back in stock.
I?m fully aware I can order this stuff online for the same price, but the staff here and their knowledge is invaluable. I?m more than prepared to drive 30 minutes to the store knowing that I get a personal service with a friendly team.
There are just 7 Jessops stores left in this country and I?m hell bent on not letting this one go under. Camera shops are still a vital service on the High Street especially when you have the knowledge and service like you?ll find here.

I always enjoy popping into Jessops in Shrewsbury, whether it's for something like new passport/driving license potatoes or help and advice on all things photographic, etc. The guys are always helpful, knowledgeable, and patient, explaining anything I'm not sure about. I think we're very lucky to still have them in Shrewsbury.
