“Good place for good quality electronics and all different things like household stuff washing powder and liquids. Almost everything you can think of. Enjoyed shopping there. Got things you never thought you'd need. Brilliant for getting stuff on the go. It's Home Bargains guys. It does everything apart from picking up parcels and delivery parcels though. It's not like some places where they have parcel place like Evri or Post Office parcel service. Lovely store and friendly and helpful customer service and staff. Brilliant even excellent for quick pick ups for all General things eg Bedding, kitchen, curtains, glass products absolutely everything quickly. Colin P.”

“Excellent staff - went in today and was helped out by friendly Gillain(?) and another member of staff. Really happy, definitely using this location from now on :-)”

“Good large shop with plenty. On a disability scooter it's annoying as they have shelf stacking trolleys in the way and baskets with offers in, some aisles are wide enough n some are not, awkward for disabled folk. Staff have always been pleasant and helpful. Clean and lots to offer.”

“Making a trip to the Sainsbury's in Shrewsbury is always a good idea, especially when you need to do a big shop. The first thing you notice is the sheer size of the place—it's absolutely massive, dwarfing the store in Oswestry. This means they have an incredible variety of products, from everyday essentials to things you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.
The best part is the parking. The car park is huge, so even on a busy day, there are always plenty of spaces available. It makes the whole shopping trip so much less stressful, knowing you won't have to circle for ages just to find a spot.
Whether you're stocking up for the week or looking for something specific, the Shrewsbury Sainsbury's has it all. It's a proper one-stop-shop with a fantastic selection and the convenience of easy parking. Definitely worth the drive!”

“Really friendly shop, have to be quick for the sandwiches. John always ready with a joke, and Lynn must sleep there. Good selection of goods. Very busy after 4 on a Sunday”

“I do like Farmfoods, this isn't my local store but go here when visiting. Same fayre as most others except the chilled section is very weak compared to others. I guess that's because there's Iceland next door and they get waste.

Cheese and yogs are very slim pickings.

Farmfoods milk is bovaer-free (from Paynes dairies) too, so always get it and freeze it with the 2-for deal.

Previous years they cleared Xmas biscuits etc at super cheap prices, not happened yet this winter

Most of the staff are "kids" and you won't get much more than a grunt out of them though!”

“A very welcoming local store and post office. George who serves the post office counter at times is particularly helpful and the post office section of the store is great as it's open till 11 at night.”

“A nice shop with plenty of choice but queuing to pay was a pain (only one checkout open). I could have used the self checkouts but I've struggled with those in the past.”

“Recently bought a Smart car online, delivered to my door in Devon within days of purchase. Completely sanitized at handover and all paperwork in order. Thank you Lawrence and team excellent service, we thoroughly recommend you!”

“One of the handiest supermarkets in Shrewsbury in terms of selection and range. They've an extensive selection of products at good prices. They open fairly late although it's unfortunate they kept thier reduced hours since covid as it used to be a very handy place if you needed anything under the sun in the middle of the night!”

“A good convenience store which is well laid out with plenty of space for walking around. Has all of the essentials that you would expect in a convenience store as well as a Costa coffee machine. I have always found the staff here to be very friendly and helpful.”

“This is the only supermarket within 8 miles, that’s why I’m forced to give a 5*.There is a large selection from fresh veg to homeware and a decent “free from” section. It’s not the cheapest but there can be some really good special offers if you look around. One other thing I like is that they stock local producers foods, like the range of Pimhill oats and the handmade cakes. The self service tills aren’t cleaned enough and are greasy to look at, although I would rather have them than not. The staff I’ve met are all very friendly and happy to help. However, when I do my big shops I will go into the big town.”

“Called into this store last night for help with an issue I had needing a delivery bag and stamps. The team leader Ben advise me unfortunately they couldn’t do anything as what I needed has to come from the main post office. Ben made around 3 calls to help me and I had what I needed. Ben was very helpful and did everything he could to put my situation right. Ben thank you for everything you did and I really appreciate it.”

“The staff are very friendly and helfpul, but I just wanted to acknowledge one particular member of staff Archie who was serving on the tills. He is extremely welcoming, polite, helpful and just provides the most excellent service. M&S should be very proud having someone like Archie as this hugely enhances the customer experience.”

“A general convenience store that sells all the essential bits and pieces that you would need quickly such as essential groceries, drinks, confectionery etc. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Not the most spacious of stores, but it is what it is.”

“Given this 5 stars, despite finding a ruck of yoghurts beyond their use by date, as they attended to this immediately. Something I've never seen in a Lidl before. Stock here is excellent, rarely are regular lines out of stock. And if you go after about 8pm it is sooo quiet it makes for a hassle-free visit. And no parking scammers with ANPR set up on the car park.”

“Went in for some food products.
Bought the food products required.
Job done.

Absolutely BOSS.

Shame it looks like the entrance to a 1970s Soviet Union nuclear bunker from the outside.”

“I don’t usually shop at Morrisons as it’s not my preferred option locally. For a full weekly shop, I tend to go to Tesco, and for quick top-ups, Aldi and Lidl are more competitive on price and offer better value. Morrisons doesn’t really offer anything that sets it apart, so I rarely visit.

On this occasion, I stopped by to pick up some helium balloons for my partner’s birthday, as I knew they were available here—unlike at Tesco, Aldi, or Lidl. While the balloons were handy, the store layout felt cluttered, and the overall appearance seemed a bit tired and run-down.

There’s nothing that really draws me in or makes me want to choose Morrisons over other local options.”

“A typical Home Bargain store inside the Raven Meadows shopping centre. Good selection of home wear, basic food, gardening, toiletries and seasonal items etc at cheap prices. No fridges at this store, so no cold drinks, or milk.”

“Smaller store than some and quite cramped but does sell everything that you need groceries wise just a smaller selection than larger stores also contains a post office at the rear of the store no parking as the store is located on the high street”
