Muy bien mucho bonito.
Overnight oats? big bowl but actually not too heavy.
Streaky bacon levels that would be considered good in America.
Pancakes were tickem. Mini milk jug of maple syrup was plentiful.
Good value all round. Hit it hit it hit
Oh and actually good coffee. Like, different to any black americano I?ve ever had
Playlist sounds included some bangers. Strangely loose yourself 8-mile played twice but I?m here for it

I visited a couple of weeks ago after doing the local Parkrun. Not only were the Eggs on toast the best Eggs on toast I have ever had I would go so far as to say this was the best breakfast I have ever had. One of the best things I have ever eaten. I don't know why something so simple was so excellent but it was.

I think Ginger and Co has new owners, the service is not as good, some of the food on the menu has been updated and is not as tasty. Small things such as delightful salad dressings have been removed and replaced with harsh drizzle of olive olive, making the salad unpleasant to eat. Sad really.
Coffee is still very good though.

If you're coeliac and want something more than a baked potato then I highly recommend this cafe, even if you're not they have such fantastic and flavoursome options that you're going to be satisfied. I had a meal a cappuccino and a cake and have to say I really enjoyed my experience.
The staff were really nice and very helpful
Parking in Shrewsbury is not an issue and it's a short walk away.
I will return for more

A Sunday morning in Shrewsbury, looking for a coffee and cake - we found Ginger and Co. It was busy with customers but we got seated promptly and the service was quick. They had a lovely selection of cakes, with about 5/6 GF or Vegan ones to choose from ? They were all in the same counter area, so I hope they used separate tongs for the GF ones? ?
We had a Lemon and Blueberry Blondie and a Chocolate Brownie, both GF and delicious. I enjoyed a rich and tasty Americano while my wife had a coke with ice. The place has a pleasing rustic feel to it, from wooden decoration and counters, window painting to some hand-written menus on rolls of paper.
A really enjoyable hour spent just relaxing?

Came into ginger and co on a whim, as it was a Sunday and not many cafes open that was close. Myself and my friend very much was craving a breakfast sandwich. I was made to feel silly and childish for asking for sausage, was told they only do bacon and wasn't offered a choice of bread. The bacon was quite greasey it was streaky and tasteless.
I'm not sure what cafe doesn't offer a choice of breakfast items, sausage being a popular choice.

Our party called here on the 10th of June, early lunchtime. The waiting staff member was pleasant and prompt, and the food was brought within about 10 minutes.
However, one fundamental aspect spoiled the atmosphere, the sheer volume of noisy machinery, (blender, presumably) coming from the nearby kitchen. We sat in the restaurants' rear, near the toilet, (no other table being available), so this being quite a small space meant that customers frequently walked very closely past our table. Other diners had to raise their voices above the noisy kitchen, who seemed to require an open door, due to the heat.
The cramped, noisy space is not reflected in the prices charged, and it was a relief to escape into the street outside.
The meals were overpriced. I had the halloumi wrap plus salad, a fairly small portion on a small plate, so lost 10% of my lettuce.
We agreed that not much could be done about the kitchen noise, and it must be quite challenging for staff's working conditions, who really should wear ear defenders.

Nice little cafe with plenty of healthy and tasty food options. I went with the hot bowl on the specials board and it was the chickpea curry. It had a lovely warm spice to it with chunks of cauliflower and sweet potato. If it?s on the specials board I would recommend it! There?s also a selection of cakes on the counter. The lemon and blueberry blondie was deliciously tart with a soft sponge. It was very reasonably priced as well.
