I do like Farmfoods, this isn't my local store but go here when visiting. Same fayre as most others except the chilled section is very weak compared to others. I guess that's because there's Iceland next door and they get waste.
Cheese and yogs are very slim pickings.
Farmfoods milk is bovaer-free (from Paynes dairies) too, so always get it and freeze it with the 2-for deal.
Previous years they cleared Xmas biscuits etc at super cheap prices, not happened yet this winter
Most of the staff are "kids" and you won't get much more than a grunt out of them though!

Staff are helpful and know what they sell.
Good prices for basics. They seem to do full meals and take away type meals.
I often pop in for 1 or 2 things and leave with more!
Not all ownbrand . Sell many known brands for less than some supermarkets.

Odd layout rather dark and dingy staff seem to be in a dream ( if you can find a member) long long long wait at the 1 till open good job I don't live to far away... Purchases would have defrosted!!!

Great value for money! Very large range of foods, from fresh fruit and vegetables to fridge/freezer staples. Occasionally have world foods stocked at a great price too
