We went to currys Shrewsbury to take a look at the televisions. Our old one is on its way out so we need to upgrade. We were dealt with by a gentleman named Russ. He explained all about the tv we were interested in. The technical jargon, ( oled, qled mhz refresh speed etc) was explained to us very well. He certainly knows his tv's. After he had finished, we certainly new and understood things better.
Having choosen the tv best suited to our needs, we purchased one. They even offer a fitting service, (small charge applies) and removal of our old set to a proper recycling centre. Russ was very friendly and understood what we were looking for. The shop was well laid out and very tidy.
I would highly recommend a visit if your looking for a tv, and speak to Russ, he knows his stuff.

bought a samsung a26 and was told it would support esim as I am about to go travelling and really wanted this feature- but got it home, set it up and found out this is not the case. really disappointing.

I had a really positive experience when I shopped at Currys recently. I was after a high spec laptop in the medium price range and Matt & Toby were really helpful going the extra mile to sort out getting the specific laptop I wanted in stock for me to collect :)

Two lads from Curry?s delivered and installed our new cooker today, have to say that even though it was 30 degrees plus in the kitchen, even with fans on. Worked well and were a credit to Curry?s , well done.

Recently popped in to look at a new vacuum and walked out with a good deal on a Dyson V11 that perfectly suits what we wanted. Adam was fantastic and quickly but politely checked in with us to see if he could help. He then took us through all the options with each model, and gave us a deal on the additional cleaning head we wanted. Top quality service and will be back - Adam you?re an accolade to the team.

We had a very brief visit into this quite large Currys. We went in to look at curved, wide-screen computer monitors and were disappointed to find that they only had one on display. Helpful staff but the couldn't show us what they didn't have on display.

So, I ordered a kettle online. When I ordered it said there was one in store. I got a confirmation email which said I couldn't collect it until 3 days later. I rang up customer services who said that there was one in store at the warehouse. This was not clear when I ordered it. She had a bit of an attitude. I popped into Shrewsbury branch on the off chance they had a kettle. The manager said they probably didn't but asked a member of staff to check. There were four in stock. The guy went to get me one. I told the manager. He said have you cancelled your online order? I said no, as I have paid for it and the exact same kettle will be delivered in 3 days, I thought I could just take this one. Well apparently not! I had to get a refund for the kettle and will wait 5 days for a refund and buy the same kettle. Absolute madness! The manager said something about online Currys and the shop have separate bank accounts. Why they couldn't just let me walk out the shop with it and replace the one I took with the exact one I ordered is beyond me! I rang up customer services to ask about this. Rude again! She said she was putting me through to someone and cut me off. I will go to Argos in the future.

Love Visiting this store as it's quite big with plenty of products on offer but one thing I would say hence the 4 ? review is as soon as you walk in the staff who are just standing around I would guess about 4-5 automatically eye onto you and come and pester you when you only just walked in? They then try and sell you more than you walked into buy then you get into conversation about TVs you tell them you got a particular brand they talk about it like it's the best to your face then telling a friend of mine after bigging up my brand to get another brand? ? You could walk into Currys know absolutely nothing and just get sold what they want gone or what they believe is good themselves word of advice for anyone reading always do some research watch online videos and have a idea of what you actually want before visiting apart from that it's a clean big location friendly staff apart from what I've mentioned above but wouldn't stop me visiting again!
