“Bit of strange experience today in HSBC. My grandad went in to take some money out to pay for a vehicle. Because it was a large amount compared to normal they refused to pay it out concerned someone may be forcing him. I was waiting in the car due to lack of parking near by and it being near closing time. They actually asked for him to get me to come in to verify he wasn't a victim of someone forcing him. The lady waited with him until i come into the bank. Although rather uncomfortable for me and my grandad, this was purely to protect him and his money. I truly felt they went above and beyond to ensure that not only was his finances safe but he was to. If that isn't customer service I Don't know what is!!! ?”

“Excellent, professional and competently dealt with by Leanne(Shrewsbury branch) which achieved our aim of Bacs transferring money from my Halifax account to my Club Lloyds account.
We had had to travel 20 miles to do this.A week earlier on the 22nd we had tried to do it on telephone banking, spending two and a half hours doing it, and being assured it had gone through when we discovered days later it hadn’t.
