“My car was recovered by the AA and taken to DMS Auto. The customer service was good with the guy on reception being very good at answering all my questions, I had a light on the dash that had been on for some time and the car was sluggish with reduced power when going uphill but 3 different garages could not find an issue and put it down to overactive sensors. However DMS found there was a problem and fixed a split pipe. Car now runs like a dream with no light on the dash. Very reasonable price too. I highly recommend this garage.”

“Whilst driving home late at night along a dark, unlit country lane, I drive over a huge pot hole in the road. This completely blew my tyre and caused damage to the rim of my alloy. Jack and his colleague just happened to be driving past and luckily for me and my mum, stopped to see if they could help. They examined the car and established my tyre needed replacing. Not having the tyre required in stock, Jack rang around attempting to locate one (all the time insisting my mum and I stayed in car with the heating on given how cold it was). The prices being quoted were scandalous (in the hundreds of pounds) and so Jack advised me that he could source a much better option the following day. He also offered to give me and my mum a lift home that evening. The following day, Jack went out of way to collect my partner to take him to where the vehicle had been left overnight. He arranged for a colleague to meet them there to take to the wheel and tyre to a tyre specialist in Shrewbury to be examined. To cut a long story short, a new tyre was fitted and the price was considerably lower than those that had been quoted the previous evening. We cannot thank or recommend Jack and his team enough. It’s so refreshing to find kind, honest people who go out of their way to help, do a good job and do not rip you off! Don’t hesitate to use this company. “I had a very good experience with Kwik Fit in Castle Foregate last weekend when I was visiting family in Shrewsbury. My exhaust box had fallen off on route the previous day and after a visit to Halfords, who gave me a quote my brother recommended calling Kwik Fit. I spoke with Jake who phoned me back within minutes to say they were able to get the part and fit it that afternoon (Saturday) and their quote was £150 cheaper than Halfords. I arrived at the workshop at 3pm and dealt with a very pleasant man (Matt) who completed the work within 45 minutes. He was very helpful and super friendly and I felt very confident the work had been carried out to a high standard. Thank you!”

“I've had one of the best customer service expirences. I came in a seized up tap cartridge from the 1970s with a strange amount of O rings. I had already tried a few other shops who had said there wasn't any in stock. I couldn't work out what cartridge I needed to buy on Ebay either so was completely at a loss.

The two men behind the counter were super knowledgeable and friendly. It turns out that cartridges that size aren't made anymore. They measured it and used a thing to count the splines. They flicked through their product list to find the closest thing to match...no luck. I thought I may have to replace the entire sink at this point (which I do plan to do when we have the funds) but one of the guys had an idea.

He took the cartridge round the back and found some tap handles that came with a cartridge and an adapter nut. He had been expirementing with it and managed to get the cartridge to roughly the same size. Having new handles was also a plus and for the low price of £9.99, some fiddling and swearing, I now have a working tap.

“Remember if you buy online also check their online carparts4less offering as it can be cheaper even though there is a day longer wait to collect, from the same store.As for the girl at the counter, always most helpful, knows her stuff on cars and the business.I had an issue with not finding a receipt for a refund last year for something my father bought wrong, and found it beyond their 60 day returns window, they were still able to process it. This kind of service ensures returning customers for life. Good stuff.”
