Pharmacist speaking here, rude staff, absolutely miserable and depressing to be around, bleak atmosphere

As a pharmacy tech it pains me to leave a poor review, but being told my antibiotic treatment for mrsa hadn't been chased for 2 days, and being expected to have a 2 day break in the middle of treatment has pushed me to it..!
I gave my prescription in for an antibiotic to treat mrsa in an open wound on my arm, and was given 8 out of the 20, for a 5 day course, on Sunday as they didn't have the full amount and was told to come back the next day, Monday.
I went back on the Wednesday and was told the antibiotics hadn't come in, which meant no one had chased up the order, looked at their owings, or put in a new order, until i was there in front of them two days later.. I explained that its treatment for mrsa and that a 2 day break in a 5 day course isn't ok and assistant just shrugged at me (they aren't qualified techs so i understand they may not know the importance but.. )
I can't believe that any pharmacy would leave a patient with half a course of mrsa treatment-or any antibiotic, for that matter-That's exactly how mrsa has come about.. !
Owings of any sort should be a priority, especially for antibiotics, and even more so if half a course has been given, to prevent breaks in treatment.
Luckily, i knew how to deal with this and managed to get a new prescription sorted so i only missed 2 doses, but, it was incredibly stressful and worrying, and took half a day of calling pharmacies, making and attending a gp appointment, 2 hours driving around pharmacies.. But what happens to the majority of patients who don't happen to have insight into how pharmacies and gp practices run? I dread to think.. Incredibly unprofessional and very clincally dangerous.

This pharmacy has been here for probably nearly 30 years now, you would think that it in this time they would of figured out how to run themselves efficiently and with professionalism, but no, they get worse and worse.
The queuing system is the most illogical setup, forcing you to queue across the people incoming the supermarket, the staff are rude, ignorant and come across as disorganised and clueless. Requests for personal information is not discreet and quite often you are having to have conversations that shouldn't be done in public
Unless your desperate I wouldn't use this as your pharmacy

The two ladies working at Asda pharmacy are so gross and irritated and ill mannered. I was in pain for allergic reaction. I went there to get something and she got so irritated because she had to do something. Then when I started reading the label of Piriton allergy tablets she snatched them away saying i was wasting time. When my husband asked to buy the Piriton she said it was £30, where clearly its under £9. Both the ladies were so unhappy and grumpy. The management should check their work ethics and fire them for not knowing how to behave.

Asda pharmacy deal with my meds on a regular basis and I think they are brilliant. They are so hardworking and do their best when short staffed. Always very professional, friendly and polite.

They don't seem to have a very good system. Not very well organised. Even when you say you have had a message to say prescription is ready they ask when you ordered it... why?

Just attended pharmacy for a pharmacy first consultation. Very helpful and pleasant pharmacist . I also observed the staff dealing with customers in a rapid, helpful and polite manner.

Always a massive line and the ladies never seem happy or cheerful. Always seem grumpy. Everyone has bad days but it's literally every single time. If you're that unhappy at work, then find another job. Also very rude on the phone, like you're inconveniencing them.

Convenient site. Waiting times quite long sometimes.

I'm constantly waiting up to an hour when my prescription is sent here, they always pass the blame to someone else and the staff are rude

An absolute disgrace waited in a long queue while the two women who didn't seem to know what they were doing stood about talking amongst them selves instead of serving customers as they are supposed to do will not be using this pharmacy again !!!

Pharmacy staff are helpful but the pharmacy itself is always chaotic. Since Asda changed the layout of the entrance, those queuing for the pharmacy have to linger in the doorway and on the right hand side of the entrance. Multiple queues end up forming because people don?t see those customers already waiting in a queue. Those queuing with trolleys take up a lot of space (of course space is now very limited anyway hence why customers are all over the place). This pharmacy really needs some organisation. It is too small and waiting times are horrendous because there aren?t enough pharmacists available to check prescriptions.
