Absolutely fantastic, lovely welcome Mick and Judy perfect host's, always happy to help give advice on directions and the area. Central to Shifnal. Fabulous breakfast you can't fault the full english ??? delicious. Room is great clean and tidy plenty of wardrobe space and draws . Our second stay at The Anvil Lodge and we will return. Pub next door The Anvil lot's of real ales,gins does have outside garden,dog friendly, doesn't serve meals but always got freshly made filled rolls and snacks on sale. Definitely 5 stars from us. ???

Had to cancel this booking due to unforeseen circumstances. I tried emailing on the email provided and sending a message through booking.com as suggested. Had no response from the hosts so called them on the phone number provided. A very grumpy, unhelpful and rude gentleman answered the phone and was so abrupt I ended up hanging up. I?m actually relieved that we didn?t stay at this property now! Awful experience and definitely would not recommend.

Great location 5 minute Walk To the station and centre of shifnal
Rooms are big, have good facilities.
Beds are comfortable lovely breakfast
Judy and Mike are hospitable

Room size, bed and bathroom were all large and very nice. Location was easy walking distance to town and. Christopher's restaurant. Quiet at night. Nice breakfast too. Really enjoyed our stay.
Rooms: Had a bath and shower and a spacious room. Extra large, comfortable bed.
Walkability: Easy walking to town, restaurants and pubs.
Food and drinks: Very nice breakfast and walkable to a great restaurant - - Christopher's -- coffee, tea, water and biscuits in the room.

Mike and his wife were very friendly , Barney the dog was gorgeous , Mike cooks a lovely breakfast with fresh produce, the room we had was up some stairs and very spacious , good hanging space, tea and coffee facility , fan , toiletries, they think of everything , bed was large and comfortable, we will definitely be staying when we visit daughter again , thank you Mike and Judy , from Lynda and Malcolm Machin

I was away for work and didn?t want to be put up in a place next to a motorway where a lot of hotels are located so chose the Anvil Lodge. Parked in the secure car park and was warmly greeted by a lady (sorry, forgot your name). Shown to my room which was spotless and plenty of room. Lovely en suite with plenty of lotions and potions. The lady had great local knowledge so it was easy for me to find somewhere to have an evening meal. Had a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Very quiet area. Had a great full English the next morning. A great place to stay.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable. Quiet areaWalkability: 5 min walk to centre of Shifnal. Plenty of eateries and pubs

Lovely stay. Room was very clean and spacious. Hosts Mick and Judy really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast. Good location. Pub next door well worth a visit. Would highly recommend.
