Walked over to this pub on a scorching Friday hoping for lunch, only to find it closed. But the landlord, absolute legend, kindly opened up just to give us ? and the dog ? some much-needed water. Huge thanks for the kindness. We?ll definitely be back ? the food looked incredible!

Visited for the first time tonight and wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Beautiful country pub in an idyllic rural village location with the warmest, friendliest welcome by very pleasant, attentive, and efficient staff. Tonight's Thai Set Meal was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly, excellent quality, plentiful, and fantastic value for money. Very much a hidden gem, I'll definitely be returning in the near future!

We were walk?ins, passing through the area. They had finished cooking but were so super accommodating! The food was amazing and they were so hospitable! Thank you very much Collin & Anna! Super service! :)

A lovely pub and it does a wonderful Sunday roast too. Wye Valley HPA and Salopian Shropshire Gold on cask. Well worth a visit, although it's recommended to book a table if you want to eat at busy times.

Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian and vegan happy to make food with prior notice.
Dietary restrictions: Most food is gluten free and to adjust .

The Stanton Arms is a fantastic village pub with really friendly staff and locals, though I've not tried the food everyone I spoke to have said it is superb and highly recommended. The Car Park is medium sized to the right of the, but if busy there is some on street parking available. I think there is wheelchair accessibility via the beer garden which might be useful for walking frame/stick users as the steps are quite steep. I can't say if the pub is child friendly, but I'm sure if they are eating a meal they'll be fine.
On this visit there was only one real ale on tap (Wyre Valley HPA), but for the beer connoisseur I can assure you the landlord keeps a really good pint.
The pub is spotlessly clean as is the lavatory you can tell that the landlord has cleanliness and pride in his pub.
Beer Garden is beautifully kept with well kept lawns. There are plenty of benches to enjoy the nice weather and decent sized smoking shelter where you will keep dry if it is raining.
I've been to many country pubs around Shropshire through darts and dominoes, but I have to admit this is probably my favourite to visit. If I get around to trying any of the menu, I will endeavour to edit this review and inform you of my experience.
