I started working for VANS August 2023,
I was unsure to begin with and was toying with the idea for a while,
Honestly it was the best decision I made,
I was very anxious going for the interview but faye made me feel so welcome!
I took the summer off 2023 to spend with my family as we had a bereavement and the whole team were fantastic,
I work hours that suit around my family as we farm and have two children who attend school,
I?ve recently lost my Nan and the whole team have been so supportive,
Nicky ,Cheryl,Anna ,Kim and Hollie to name a few,
I supported my Nan with her care etc and I would like to thank Louise and faye for believing and teaching me everything I know,
Visiting Angels don?t treat you like a number you are an individual and everyone is different
Thank you so much for taking me onboard

Visiting angles are the best company I have ever worked for, the support they give is just amazing. So good with working around my availability, just amazing!! Everyone is so kind and caring, I?m so glad I decided to go for this job after my maternity leave ended. 5 stars isn?t enough, it?s beyond 5 ?

Visiting Angels were fantastic with my mum's care. Going above and beyond, both as an organisation and as individual carers. My heartfelt thanks to all involved.

Wonderful care for my mother in law. They went above and beyond to give her the best care as she came to the end of her life. All staff were tremendously caring and helpful. Especial thanks to Lou who was always available when we had questions even on her day off. I can't rate these guys highly enough and would have liked to give them 10 stars!

I've been working for Visiting Angels for almost 12 months now and I can honestly say that they really do exactly what they say they do. I saw the adverts and thought they sounded too good to be true, with their promises of being "carer centric", but they really do take pride in looking after their carers. The door is always open if you have a problem or just need someone to talk to. They understand that carers have families and that always comes first with them. This means that carers are happy and able to provide top quality care. And the care really is quality. If you're looking for support for a family member, or if you want to see care work done differently, then you have nothing to lose by popping in for a chat. They changed my life... could they change yours?

Is there anything so company can?t do? Being a carer for over 6 years now I?ve been with many different care company?s but the level of care and support from this amazing team is just phenomenal!I?ve never worked for a company in or out of care where the managers and directors no only care about their clients but also their safety and general well being of their members of staff! There is no problem too big or too small and is always a safe space to speak to someone. If anyone is looking for a care company who actually care!! You?ve just found them!

Well.... what can I say! After having a long career in care I can honestly say with out a shadow of doubt Visiting Angels as by far the best. They have true care pouring from their hearts every single one of them. I feel so lucky to be apart of this company. Mark and Nicky are outstanding directors and Lou is a fabulous manager who all go way above and beyond for their staff and clients. May I also add that ALL OFFICE STAFF go out on care when needed. The support they show is just world class. The atmosphere when Visiting the office in oswestry is something way beyond your imagination. Everyone has a smile everyone is very welcoming and so friendly. I know the company ill be choosing for my loved ones when the time comes and that is Visiting Angels north shropshire.I highly recommended them to anyone who wants to work in true care it will be like nothing you have ever experienced before.???

Working for VANs has honestly been a breathe of fresh air. Much focus is given to client happiness, but also to employee satisfaction and they do what they say on the tin. They really are carer centric AND client centric and they manage to do both beautifully, whilst maintaining the utmost professionalism throughout. As a nurse with over 20 years NHS experience, I can honestly say that they have supported me to rediscover what it means to be able to give love, care and support to those that need it and my life as a nurse is much richer for it.If you have a problem, whether it's personal or professional, you only need to say, and they will work with you to find the best solution for you. Flexible, supportive, kind, and caring company to work for, best care company around; but I don't like calling them that, because they are so much more than just another care company.

As an ex employee, unfortunately I can't recommend this company. I would encourage anyone who is considering joining 'VANS' to read through this before doing so.My employment started off very well, I was extremely happy and felt like I was a valued member of the team. Very quickly things started to go very wrong.First of all I would like to talk about the hours that staff members were doing. You were expected to work for weeks on end without a day off (7am-10pm days were the norm). Some staff were expected to do shifts during the day after doing a WAKING night, and it could be weeks before you were able to sit down with your family and have a meal. This is so far from the values they state on their website and Facebook page.Secondly, this company takes on a lot of end of life clients without offering proper training and support for the staff members that are asked to attend these calls. Clients were promised continuity and a matching process with VANS, however this never happened. If clients requested certain staff members they were often told this couldn't be staffed and all our staff are trained the same so it shouldn't make a difference. Once again, this is so far from what they advertise on their website. When asked about end of life training during a meeting one staff member was told this was too expensive at £70 per person. This was a complete insult considering the directors were constantly on holidays abroad.I won't go into the reason I handed my (with immediate effect) notice in, but believe me, both staff and clients (end of life) were being put in extremely dangerous situations that should never have happened. I have been in the care industry over ten years, and never once have I been put in a position that had made me as traumatized as this one. After my employment had ended, VANS then took it upon themselves to report me (and another ex employee) to the disclosure and barring service with false, malicious allegations (which have now been investigated and no evidence of wrong doing was found) because they could not handle the truth about their own company. There is so much more I could write here, and I am sure I will be threatened by Nicky and Mark again, but none of this is a lie and I think it's really important for potential new staff and clients to know what they are getting themselves in for.How many staff members has this company lost within their first year of business?I will let the directors answer this questions.

After 3 years of no support or check ups and just being used for what they can get from you by a previous company I was very nervous to be starting fresh with a new company especially after having a baby and coming from a company who could?ve cared less the vans team have proved them selves and more of how loving supporting and caring they truly are from advice with things in to advice and support out of work couldn't recommend a company anymore! Thank you for the continuous love and support from interview to now and more even out side of work!

I started in this company in January of this year . I have never found a company that wants to help there carers grow in a short amount of time they saw something in me and gave me to opportunity to grow as a person and show my skills I can not thank visiting angels enough for everything especially our manger/ directors for showing so much love and support you have a problem no worries they help straight away with out question you can quite literally go to them for anything and they are always willing to help and support... and as for the clients we have well they are all so loving and show us how much our care is appreciated well you only have to look at the wow file to see that angel family xxx

The most extraordinary group of caring and compassionate people I have ever met. Visiting angels took over care for my mum in the final stages of her life and looked after her with such care, passion and professionalism that my few words here can?t do enough justice. They ensured mum?s dignity at all stages and when times were tough they supported the family. If you are reading this, don?t hesitate, give them a call. Thank you to all the Angels I was fortunate enough to meet.

My journey started back in May '22' and I have loved every minute that I have worked for them .My only care experience was for my late husband who passed away 2017.Its a true Angels Famalam, everything from training, support, the Family vibe between clients, carers and Bosses is like nothing I've ever known.I have thrived with this company because of this, my confidence, my knowledge, my friendships. So much so I became Visiting Angel of the Midlands this year and all because they Believe in me, which in turn makes you believe in your self !Who wouldnt want that xxAngel faye ??
