It is impossible to get through to the Oswestry branch by phone. They do not bother to call you back. You cannot amend an appointment on line.

After being a customer for many years (20 years +), I had to challenge Specsavers Oswestry when I spent over £300 for my glasses. I tried them for a few weeks after being told that my eyes would settle to them. This was not the case. It took the threat of legal action to get them to listen. Even then their response was a full refund and the closing of my account. I would never recommend Specsavers in Oswestry if my life depended on it. We rely upon your medical expertise, not excuses.

My one and only note of dissatisfaction with Specsavers Oswestry is the fact that it is almost impossible to get in touch by telephone. The answer one gets when ringing is " the line is for emergency calls only and calls can take upto 24 hours to be heard"If one needs to get in touch and change an appointment for whatever reason don't try ringing, or you'll end up as frustrated as myself.Once inside the establisment, the shop, and all staff are what one would expect. Friendly , polite, knowledgable

Shocking service been told my glasses were delayed no text was received nothing off the staff apart from we are sorry but nothing we can do. Waste of money and time going here willDefinitely not be going back with them unless the serve changes

Didn't start to well. I've marked down because They called the person who had later appointment to me first. Hay ho it would have been nice to have them explained that to me rather than talk over me and decide among themselves that I could wait. So just told me to wait for a further 15minutes without explanation. Rest of the experience was fine.

Very disappointed- picked up new glasses, told them I couldn?t really see through them but as prescription complex, thought I woukd give them time. 2 weeks down the road phoned and was told Manager woukd call. 24 hours later no call. Tried ringing several times, no one answered the phone. Left 2 answer phones. Now want full refund. You can have the glasses back. I will go elsewhere.

Gave up waiting, again I sat for 20mins waiting for my appointment.When I asked how long I would be waiting, I was told another 10-20 mins as they had an emergency.I accept that this may happen from time to time , however they could have let those waiting know!!Also this is the second time this has happened!I left without making another appointment.Utterly disgusted.

be aware that this practice is no longer on the MECS list despite the out of date documents all over the internet. If you book in for a MECS appointment (which they will accept) you will get charged when you get there. As you will probably be under some stress, you will be forced into paying. I have asked CHEC to take this practice off the list but it has been a four month battle with no progress.Practice also completely covid-unsafe, stuffy and overcrowded.Edit - no reply to the complaint either. Total contempt for customers.
