Very disappointed- picked up new glasses, told them I couldn?t really see through them but as prescription complex, thought I woukd give them time. 2 weeks down the road phoned and was told Manager woukd call. 24 hours later no call. Tried ringing several times, no one answered the phone. Left 2 answer phones. Now want full refund. You can have the glasses back. I will go elsewhere.

Gave up waiting, again I sat for 20mins waiting for my appointment.When I asked how long I would be waiting, I was told another 10-20 mins as they had an emergency.I accept that this may happen from time to time , however they could have let those waiting know!!Also this is the second time this has happened!I left without making another appointment.Utterly disgusted.

be aware that this practice is no longer on the MECS list despite the out of date documents all over the internet. If you book in for a MECS appointment (which they will accept) you will get charged when you get there. As you will probably be under some stress, you will be forced into paying. I have asked CHEC to take this practice off the list but it has been a four month battle with no progress.Practice also completely covid-unsafe, stuffy and overcrowded.Edit - no reply to the complaint either. Total contempt for customers.

We have moved store from Shrewsbury to Oswestry. In Oswestry your made to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble.

Excellent customer service went well above my expectations, very happy with my contact lenses and my glasses, to top it off two for one on the glasses so one pair polarized sunglasses one normal glasses, as I live in ashfree Kent I would be more than happy to drive up to Oswestry for my next appointment because the service was that good, thanks guys you went well above and beyond what I would normally expect.

It was great having my eyes tested but unfortunately didn't have the full amount of money to pay in full . For my glasses . As l work part time and don't claim universal credit and people should get more support when it comes to there health and to be able to pay by instalments

Odd experience. My eye test appointment was fine, I paid £25 for it. I then had my free contact lens consultation and then it went down hill from there.When I was waiting I heard my name being called out from across the room. I looked and couldn't see anyone looking at me so assumed someone was calling my name down the hall. I walked down there and was met by a puzzled optician. My hypothesis is the person who initially called my name out, decided to attend to another customer, which caused confusion.I found out that they forgot to order in my contact lenses, so the trip/appointment was a waste of time. I booked another and called them a few hours before to say I was going to be 15 minutes late due to transport issues. They told me my contact lens assessment will only be 10 minutes long since i was going to be late. In the end I just wanted my prescription and to not be dealing with Specsavers anymore. They refused. No doubt necessary, but could of been handled better.My advice is to treat free consultation customers as well as paying customers, and not to use fire extinguishers to keep doors open.

My elderly grandad had a sight test and needed new glasses. Thank you to Claire who was really lovely with him and made him laugh when he was choosing his glasses, she took the time to talk to him. He collected his glasses a saw Joanne who was very nice too. He will only be coming to Specsavers from now on as he felt really welcome

Had the oddest advice when I collected my new glasses! When I said I would wear them home the assistant advised me not to do so until tomorrow. When I asked why, she wasn,t confident in her reply that I "wasn,t used to the prescription" Does that mean that I will wake up in the morning and suddenly be used to it? Very strange advice

My three year old son had an eye test recently and the ladies and one gent we saw were lovely! They had a lovely calm manner and even when he didn't want to pick any glasses they listened and helped. Would recommend!

Very pleased with my new spectacles especially as I took advantage of the 2 for 1 offer. No problem at all with any of the staff, the optician herself and all others were very friendly and helpful.
