Another great BCA pub thats dog friendly, keeps and serves real ales well. Only downside lack of choice being all pale ale, NZ or citrus no dark stuff.

Rachel & Dean are great hosts. Lovely friendly pub the kind where a woman can sit and read with a glass of wine in perfect peace or chat to others, or a club can meet like our book club every month.

Went tonight to hear local male voice choir sing Xmas carols.place lovely and warm and cosy.drinks good had excellent coffee and later some lovely fresh sandwiches.everywhere very very clean and tidy pleasure to go in there

Nice place. Only ever been in during the daytime and never had food but the pies in at the counter in the bar are top and the owner is a nice guy

The pub has recently been refitted/updated, and it is far better for it. Great range of real ales (I would say the most in Newport) and tgere was a good atmosphere. Very good place overall.
