Good location for our visit to the ICC, friendly staff and a good welcome. Rooms were a little tired but comfortable. As it was late and didn't know the area we used the restaurant nearby, which was busy and a little on the expensive side.Breakfast was self serve with plenty of choice. Ample parking.

Newport is a lovely little village with quaint little pubs , plenty of small shops , lovely walks down the canal. WiFi in the hotel not much good unless you paid a fiver, staff were very friendly, room was a good size and very clean , we only had two small packs of coffee so if you're a big coffee drinker I'd take your own.

This would have scored higher, but this was not the cleanest. In the room was still dirty underwear from the last guest! No discount or apologises where given considering we had to clean our on room on arrival. The area is great though lots to do on site. Would go again. Beefeater is attached to is great food.

We used the hotel for a stopover on our way north and on the return south.Rooms were as expected. Check on was slow on our first booking. We booked the meal deal. Disappointed with the service which was slow on both occasions, and simple mistakes made. Burnt burger bun being just one of several.

Beefeater restaurant attached to the Premier Inn. Starters were a bit short on quantities but the whole meal was tasty from start to finish with helpful tentative staff.

Ideal location, but no WIFI. If you look at other reviews, you will see that the wifi has been down now for many weeks, possibly months, but Premier Inn prefer to deceive their guests in not having the decency to inform them prior to their stay, or even at the point when you check in. I complained to Premier Inn, and only after chasing them as they hadn't replied, you get the usual bullshine. I dont like being lied to!

The hotel is located a few miles outside Telford and close to the M42 motorway. Whilst being close to the road the building was well insulated against traffic noise and my sleep was undisturbed. Check in was a little complicated in that there were two individual groups of customers where there were issues, some of their own making, The receptionist became overwhelmed at one point and she used good judgement by taking a couple of minutes out to gather her thoughts and regain her composure. Gradually things were put right, however it was not appropriate to have one staff member completely alone at the main check-in time. My own check-in was relatively straight forward however my request for a room with a bath tub had not been met and whilst the hotel did have such rooms the receptionist did not have ready access to this information, Again, the matter was resolved and I was transferred to a room that met my requirements, but only after I stood my ground and challenged the claim that the hotel was completely full. I checked on the internet live and discovered that rooms were still being sold and I was therefore not willing to accept being declined my request. My room was spacious and clean and had good features for a budget hotel, All areas were imaculately clean and everything you could expect was available. The wifi, however, was very weak and not really functional. Surprisingly, the room benefited from full air conditioning and this was strong and very effective. Discounted meals were available at the adjacent Beefeater restaurant and this was good value. By booking well in advance I was able to secure a very favourable rate.

Our overnight stay was pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, and the air con provided some welcome relief. No problem parking, plenty of spaces. The breakfast was outstanding and left us feeling very satisfied.

Meeting up with my wife?s ex-golfing partners from the course next door to the hotel. We moved house in 2014 to live in Burnham on sea, it was good to see them and catch up with the recent news about course changes and the sad loss of past members.

Brilliant experience, having stayed in countless Premier Inn's for work this was the best stay I have had. The room as always is the same but what made a massive difference was the staff. Kirsty was exceptional from the moment she greeted me at the door till the moment I left. Nothing was too much of a bother and Kirsty's customer service skills are phenomenal. She was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Premier Inn - Kirsty is a massive asset to your business and a shining example to all working in the hospitality industry. Thank you Kirsty!

Hadn't arranged the interconnecting rooms we had requested. Rooms were not ready for us when arrived, despite checking in at 6pm. Cups in the room still had coffee in when we arrived. No Internet connection for the entire stay - apparently it had been seven days since it had last been available. Reception staff claimed that Virgin Media had refused to correct the problem - sounds unlikely that they'd say that to such a major customer as Premier Inn. Evening meal - Main course arrived quickly but then waited over an hour for the puddings. Had to ask three times for the plates to be cleared from the table. Food choice very dated and limited - 'From the grill, ' 'Steaks, ' 'Burgers, ' 'Classics.'
